Hamme is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Hamme proper, Kastel Moerzeke, St-Anna and Zogge. On March 18, 2010, Hamme had a total population of 24,026. The total area is 40.21 km² which gives a population density of 578 inhabitants per km². The current mayor of Hamme is Herman Vijt, from the CD&V party. Hamme also has its own legends. The most famous one is the legend of the Hamse Wuiten. 1. Herge Museum Louvain La Neuve
The Musée Hergé, or Hergé Museum, is a museum in Belgium dedicated to the life and work of the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi , who wrote under the pen name Hergé, creator of the series of comic albums, The Adventures of Tintin. The museum is located in the town of Louvain-la-Neuve in Wallonia to the south of Brussels at the address, Rue Labrador 26, Tintin's first home in the books. It was designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc, with interiors designed by cartoonist Joost Swarte. The first stone was laid May 2007 during the centenary of Hergé's birth and it opened in June 2009. It consists of three floors with a total of nine exhibition rooms, and a café, museum shop and mini cinema.

Bezoek aan centrum, park & kasteel. - Visite du centre ville, son château et le parc.
Garnizoenstad van de heren van Edingen bij ht begin va de XIIIde eeuw, buiten verblijf, via opeenvolgende erfenissen, van de families Luxembourg-Saint-Pol, Clève-Raventstein en Bourbon-Vendôme, verwaarloosd eigendom van Hendrik IV, dankt het domein van Edingen zij befaamdheid aan de familie d'Arenberg die het verwierf van de Vert Galant in 1607 en die er een uitzonderlijk prachtig park aanlegde. Volledig gerestructureerd minder dan een eeuw later, ziet het park zijn tuinen in barokstijl verdwijnen, maar de nieuwe samenstelling bewaart evenwel de decoratieve bouwwerken. Aangekocht door baron Empain in 1924, wordt het park ernstig geamputeerd door de autosnelweg A8 in 1973 zonder gelukkigerwijs het historisch gedeelt te verwringen, dat in 1986 door de stad Edingen opgekocht wordt. De stad stelde aldus ht park open voor het groot publiek en heeft overigens een belangrijk restauratieprogramma p touw gezet dat ook de restitutie voorziet van een gedeelte van de tuinen uit de XVIIde eeuw.
