Other villages in the municipality include Breivik, Hasvik, and Sørvær. The population of Hasvik has generally been in steady decline due to problems within the fishing industry. Hasvik is an island municipality with no road connections to the rest of Norway. Hasvik Airport is served with regular connections to Tromsø and Hammerfest, and there is a two-hour ferry crossing to the village of Øksfjord on the mainland, providing access by car. Sørvær Chapel is a chapel of the Church of Norway in Hasvik Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sørvær on the western tip of the island of Sørøya. It is an annex chapel for the Hasvik parish which is part of the Alta prosti in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white church, made of stone and wood, was built in a long church style in 1968 by the architect Sverre Flåto. The church seats about 100 people.

Norway.World Heritage Rock Art - Alta Museum is situated in Hjemmeluft, a small bay on Altafjord near the Arctic Circle. Alta Museum is northern Norway's most-visited summer museum, with more than 1,000 visitors each day. It presents exhibitions on local culture and historic industries including the nearby prehistoric rock carvings that form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alta Museum is situated at the site of early settlement of Finnmark dating from around 11,000 years ago. In 1973, the first rock carvings in Hjemmeluft were found. To date over 3,000 figures have been registered here. The museum opened in June 1991 and won the European Museum of the Year Award in 1993.

The Northern Lights Cathedral - Alta Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Alta Municipality in Finnmark county. It is located in the central part of the town of Alta. It is the church for the Alta parish and the Alta prosti in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The modern church was built in a circular style in 2013 by the architecture firm LINK arkitektur, in collaboration with Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects. The church seats about 350 people. Prior to the opening of this church, the main church for the parish was the historic Alta Church.
