Kalmar is a city in the southeast of Sweden, situated by the Baltic Sea. It had 36,392 inhabitants in 2010 and is the seat of Kalmar Municipality. It is also the capital of Kalmar County, which comprises 12 municipalities with a total of 236,399 inhabitants . From the thirteenth to the seventeenth centuries, Kalmar was one of Sweden's most important cities. Between 1602 and 1913 it was the episcopal see of Kalmar Diocese, with a bishop, and the Kalmar Cathedral from 1702 is still a fine example of classicistic architecture.     Kolmården Wildlife Park is a zoo that opened in 1965 overlooking Bråviken bay in Sweden. The wildlife park also has a birds of prey display and a seal show. In the Marine World area is a roller coaster called The Dolphin Express. Another, larger, roller coaster in the park is Wildfire.

    Stenshuvud is a hill in the southeastern corner of Sweden, in the province of Scania, close to Kivik in Simrishamn Municipality. Since 1986, it is one of the National parks of Sweden. The park covers an area of about 3.9 km2 . The hill is 97 m high and faces the Baltic Sea. Since the surrounding landscape is relatively flat, it can be seen from a great distance and has traditionally been used as a landmark for seafarers. Many visitors trek up the hill to enjoy the view which is very good in clear weather. Most of the area is covered with broadleaf forest, especially European hornbeam.     Ven is a small Swedish island in the Øresund strait, between Scania and Zealand . It is part of Landskrona Municipality, Skåne County. The island has 371 inhabitants and an area of 7.5 km2 .
