#10 - Rovinj, Croatia - The park, the beaches and the Old town (09/2011)

Above all, Rovinj is a beautiful city. It's also the most bike-friendly place I've ever been to, with amazing bike paths and beaches. Also, in high season, you can expect lots of fun and events in and around the city. And you won't have accommodation problems as there are many hotels, resorts, camps, apartments, etc. Highly recommended for everyone (young, old, teenage, families). You should also know that nudist beaches are common, easily accessible and poorly marked (nudists don't mind but you might :)) and even (unofficial) swingers/sex/gay beaches which aren't marked at all, so you should ask around. Whether to avoid them or to find them is up to you. ;) I just wish someone gave me that warning...
In this video, I'll take you down the incredible bike paths to the South, by the beautiful beaches, then through the city itself. I will also show you the amazing Old town, all the way to the top. And no, there's nothing inappropriate shown in this movie.

Europe 2018: Long Travel to Groznjan
My classmates had a great opportunity to do a one week field school in Groznjan, Croatia so we took it. This course involved learning about the histories of cities and also how we can project the essence of a city through film. We enjoyed the beautiful town of Groznjan because it has so much culture to teach us. To be honest, I have never heard of this place ever in my life but I have to say, everyone should visit this quiet town once in their life because I have totally fallen in love with it.

Following a successful truffle hunt in Livade, Croatia, our Head Chef Tomáš Opletal together with Head Chef & Truffle Sommelier of Restaurant Zigante in Croatia had the pleasure of inviting all foodlovers to Brasserie Anjou and taste extraordinary dishes prepared from the diamonds of the kitchen - white truffles.
During 10 days, guests of the French restaurant Brasserie Anjou had a chance to taste truffle specialties such as Turffled ricotta cheese with marinated chanterelles and beetroot texture on fine pesto, Garlic-marinated loin of lamb with white truffle demi-glace, mushrooms and potatoes or Homemade truffle ice cream on zabaione sauce.
