Lukovit is a town in northern Bulgaria, part of Lovech Province. It is situated on both banks of the Zlatna Panega between the Danubian Plain and the foot of Stara Planina. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 9,630 inhabitants.The town was first mentioned in Ottoman registers of 1430. In 1495, it had 47 households. Between 1683 and 1687, Lukovit was part of an Ottoman process of forceful Islamization, but was never completely converted as late as 1860 when it had 250 Muslim Bulgarian and 260 Eastern Orthodox households. 1. The Covered Bridge Lovech
The Covered Bridge is, as the name suggests, a covered bridge in the town of Lovech, Bulgaria. The bridge crosses the Osam River, connecting the old and new town parts of Lovech, being possibly the most recognisable symbol of the town. The bridge is one of the few remaining in Europe that have shops on them. Other examples include the Krämerbrücke in Erfurt and the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. After the bridge that then served the town was almost completely destroyed by a flood in 1872, the local police chief ordered the famous Bulgarian master builder Kolyu Ficheto to construct a new one. Ficheto personally chose the material for the wooden bridge. Each citizen of Lovech contributed to the building process, the poorer ones working themselves and the wealthier donating money and paying oth...

Cave Prohodna, located 112 km from the city of Sofia and 2 km from the village of Karlukovo, is one of the most famous caves in Bulgaria. Passage is very popular with tourists. In addition, several Bulgarian and foreign films were shot here. For example, the 1987 film ‘Time is divided’, ‘The Time of Violence’ or ‘The Hour of Anger’ in the Russian version.

Bulgaria - Десет рекламни видеа популяризират България

Десет нови рекламни видео клипа популяризират различни български дестинации. Видеата са създадени по начин, представящ дестинациите за българските и чуждестранни туристи.

Кратките промоционални видеа са с продължителност до една минута и половина, по един за всяка от дестинациите: Луковит, Враца, Каварна, Казанлък, Кърджали, Кюстендил, Сапарева баня, Природен парк Странджа и Сандански. Направен е и един общ имиджов клип, с продължителност малко над 3 минути за всички 12 дестинации, включени в проекта.

Видеото е изработено с европейско финансиране по проект „Комуникационна кампания за популяризиране на дестинациите ЕДЕН в България – второ издание“, изпълняван от Министерството на туризма като бенефициент по програма COSME 2014-2020 г. EDEN e акроним на European Destinations of ExcelleNce (най-добри европейски дестинации) и представлява инициатива, която популяризира моделите на устойчиво развитие на туризма на територията на целия Европейски съюз.
