    Kirindy Forest or Kirindy Private Reserve is a private park situated in the western Madagascar, 50 km northeast of the town of Morondava.The forest was earlier operated as an experimental sustainable timber harvesting scheme, which has not left indelible scars on the region. Most of the canopy top is about 14 meters in height, but in wetter parts it may almost triple in vertical extent.     Analamazaotra Special Reserve is a wildlife reserve of Madagascar, and is part of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. The reserve is toward the northeast portion of the island, and is nearly centered between the coast. The neighbouring Analamazaotra Forest Station is a local reforestation effort. The reserve is situated in the region Alaotra-Mangoro, close to Moramanga and Andasibe.
