Le Prielle is situated in the heart of the Madiran wine growing area of the Haute Pyrenees in the South West of France.
Surrounded by vineyards, the property is on the borders of the Gers, Pyrenees Atlantique and Haute Pyrenees in the heart of Gascony and close to the Pyrenees mountains.
The accommodation comprises four beautifully restored Gites which have been created from renovated barns, in the grounds of an old Chateau, dating from 1745.

For our fourth day aboard Crown Princess we embarked at one of my favourite regions, the French Riviera, on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Alps. We jumped in a taxi and headed an hour away from the coast to Provence – one of the most popular holiday regions in the south of France located within the French Riviera and is famous for its sunny weather, colourful countryside, tradition, wine, food, and language. Lourdes - A Gastronomic Experience !
Inspired by the architect Baltard, Lourdes' Covered Market (inaugurated in 1900) comes from what was known as the Stone Market in Toulouse. Restored in 2007, it's a perfect example of metal architecture from the late 19th century. Inside the Covered Market, the producers' market takes place every morning, where you can find all the region's gastronomic specialities, such as gâteau à la broche (spit cake), « Madiran » wine (coarse red wine) or Fromage des Pyrénées (cheese).
