Marnardal is a municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sørlandet. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Heddeland. Other villages in Marnardal include Bjelland, Breland, Koland, Laudal, and Øyslebø. The Sørlandet Line runs through the municipality stopping at Breland Station and Marnardal Station. 1. Sjosanden Mandal
Sjøsanden is a beach in the town of Mandal in the municipality of Mandal in Vest-Agder county, Norway. The beach sits in the Furulunden nature park, along the Mannefjorden, just south of the mouth of the Mandalselva river. The 800-metre long beach has been voted several times as the best beach in Norway.

2. Baneheia Kristiansand
The Baneheia murders was a notorious case of double rape-and murder that occurred in Norway on May 19, 2000. The victims were 10-year-old Lena Sløgedal Paulsen and 8-year-old Stine Sofie Sørstrønen who were found raped and killed at Baneheia in Kristiansand. Locals Viggo Kristiansen and Jan Helge Andersen were arrested and were convicted of the murders in 2002. The murders sent shock-waves through the Norwegian public who reacted with shock and disbelief.
