One day trip to Mysuru by KSTDC(Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, India). It covers Srirangapatna and Mysuru. KSTDC provides a professional guide to enrich tourist's knowledge about the spots in English, Hindi, Kannada language.
Description-
KSTDC operate daily tour package to Mysuru and Srirangapatna. They cover important places in both Srirangapatna and Mysuru. Some of the places covered are Daria Daulat, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangapatna. At Mysuru, they cover Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace, Zoo, St. Philomena Church and Brindavan Gardens.
1. Daria Daulat Bag of Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace - Is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. It is open all days. visiting time: 8:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Entrance Fee as on November 2018, Indians: Rs. 5 Foreign Tourists: Rs. 100
2. Sringapatna fort - It was Built by the Timmanna Nayaka in 1454, the fort came to prominence during the rule of Tipu Sultan. The Fort is open daily from 9am to 6pm and there is no entry fee.
3. Jumma Masjid of Majid-i-ala - Build by Tipu Sultan.

5. Tipu Sultan's death Place - Where Tipu was shot and killed in the evening of 4th May 1799.

Visit Mysore Palace
It is the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore.
The current palace is from 18th century after the Anglo Mysore war, Henry Irwin was the architect.
The palace is charmingly illuminated on Sunday evening.
The gold throne is a must see. There are a lot of paintings showcasing many aspects of the king's life and the famous Mysore Dusshara celebrations.
Beautiful artwork on the roofs and a great view of the palace grounds.All the doors of the various rooms in the palace are heavy rosewood intricately carved. The roof of some rooms were exquisitely carved teak wood.

1. GRS Fantasy Park
Located just 15 minutes drive from Mysore, GRS Fantasy Park is an amusement and water park that serves perfectly as a picnic spot for everyone. Set amid a lush green environment on the Mysore-Bangalore highway, it has been a part of several memorable holidays and unforgettable memories for the past 13 years.
2. Mysuru Sand Sculpture Museum
Spread over an area of 13,500 sq ft, the Sand Sculpture Museum in Mysore attracts tourists from all over the world because of its uniqueness of being the only museum in India that is dedicated to sand sculptures. A 15-feet-high sand statue of Lord Ganesh welcomes visitors to this open air space. The nearly 150 sculptures in this museum have been carved out of 115 lorry loads of sand, with the museum being designed to be eco-friendly.
3. Railway Museum Mysore
The Railway Museum at Mysore, India is an outdoor exhibit of vintage locomotives. The Railway Museum was established in 1979 by Indian Railways, the second such museum after the National Railway Museum in Delhi.

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also known as the Mysore Zoo is one of the best zoological gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar established this Zoo in the year 1892 for the Royals. Furthermore, after the attainment of freedom, it was handed over to the Department of Parks and Gardens of the State Govt.
7. Chamundeshwari Temple
The Chamundeshwari Temple is traditional Hindu temple located on the eastern edge of Mysore at the height of 1000ft on the Chamundi hills. Dedicated to and named after goddess Durga, the temple also has statues of Nandi and Mahishasura, the demon.
