Ninove is a city and municipality located in the Flemish province of East Flanders in Belgium. It is situated on the river Dender, and is part of the Denderstreek. The municipality comprises the city of Ninove proper and since the 1976 merger of the towns of Appelterre-Eichem, Aspelare, Denderwindeke, Lieferinge, Meerbeke, Nederhasselt, Neigem, Okegem, Outer, Pollare and Voorde. On January 1, 2012, Ninove had a total population of 37,289. The total area is 72.57 km² which gives a population density of 514 inhabitants per km².

The Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 in Zonnebeke is a Belgian museum devoted to the 1917 Battle of Passchendaele , where in 1917 in only 100 days, almost 500,000 men were killed for only eight kilometers gain of ground. The museum is housed in the historic château grounds of Zonnebeke and focuses on the material aspects of World War I.

The Carnaval of Ninove is one of the most known Carnavals in Belgium, Ninove is about 30 km from Brussels the Capital of Belgium, it is celebrated each year from 4 to 7 mart , it seems to be a competition between Ninove and Alost, another city not fare from Ninove and also has its own popular Carnaval which take place each year and start from 17 february until 5 mart.

Jolly Boys 2013 tour of Iper Belgium

The annual trip to respect the fallen heroes....2013 saw the Jolly Boys return to Iper (Ypres/Wipers) in Belgium to once again join forces with master tour guide Mr Iain McHenry (Trenchmaptours).....

Base camp was set up at Le Chat Noir, owned by Alain and Caroline. This is a top location self catering house that can sleep 10 people check it out for trips to Iper.

Once again there is music to enhance your enjoyment of this work of art...Sadly for some, once again its Northern Soul (Plus a Blues number)....Keep The faith brothers & sisters....
