Nissedal is a rural municipality in Telemark County, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Vest-Telemark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Treungen. The municipality of Nissedal was established on January 1, 1838 . As of 2018, Nissedal is home to 1,489 full-time residents and 2,246 vacation homes.Nissedal has been nicknamed the Telemark Riviera due to its close proximity to Gautefall Alpine Center, and due to its many campgrounds and places for outdoor activities. Skien [²ʃeːən] is a city and municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Grenland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Skien. Skien is also the administrative centre of Telemark county. Skien is one of Norway's oldest cities, with an urban history dating back to the Middle Ages, and received privileges as a market town in 1358. From the 15th century, the city was governed by a 12-member council. The modern municipality of Skien was established on 1 January 1838 . The rural municipalities of Gjerpen and Solum were merged into the municipality of Skien on 1 January 1964. Vrådal (Kviteseid), Norway

Vrådal, formerly spelled Wraadahl, is a village in Kviteseid municipality, Norway. The village had a population of 220 as of 1 January 2009. The centre of the village is at Eidstod, which lies at the eastern end of the Vråvatn lake, where it flows into lake Nisser. The economy is based on tourism (hotels, camping and a ski-centre), light industry, and small-scale logging.

The name probably derives from the old Norse «vrá/ró» which means step, probably used to refer to farms which lay a little remotely - but it could also come from the fact that the valley is curved or stepped.

The village has a long-church built in 1866, Vrådal kirke.
