Christmas Eve Silent Night Tour

We went on a Silent Night tour with Panorama tours in Salzburg on Christmas Eve. It was moving to learn about how the classic Christmas carol to be but also how it has been used as a symbol of peace and community. The silent night lyrics are quite beautiful. There was the usual tourist trapping but the Silent Night Holy Night song was sung in German around the chapel as we all looked quietly on and listened in little Oberndorf bei Salzburg.
