English Landing Park is located along the Missouri river in Parkville, Missouri, United States. The area the park now sits were once just low water areas of the Missouri River. It includes a 3-mile jogging/biking trail that follows the river's edge, several shelters for picnics, a soccer field, a baseball diamond, volleyball courts, 2 playgrounds . Recently, a small 9-hole Frisbee golf course has been added around the jogging/biking trail. There is also a busy set of train tracks that runs along the length of the park. The area of present-day English Landing Park was bought from the English Brothers by Colonel George S. Park in 1838, who was a veteran of the Texas war of independence. Some Recommendations:
Peach Cobbler: Did not like it at all. No fruit - all crust. Didn't taste good at all!
Banana Split Pie - it was so-so. Would not get it again (doesn't mean you won't like it).
Turkey Melt - which is like a grilled cheese sandwich with turkey on it - was greasy, but otherwise, very good! Would have been much better if it hadn't been so greasy.
Cheese omelette with hash browns and biscuit - was EXCELLENT! The omelette and hash browns were FLUFFY! HUGE biscuit too! Couldn't eat it all.

Driving from Omaha, NE to Kansas City, MO via I29

Last night in Omaha was fun; Saw a great show, and discovered a new Gretna. But, I must keep moving on. Today we'll hit Missouri by going through Kansas City, and then move on to Kansas going through Lawrence, Topeka, and Alma before settling for the night in Salina, Kansas.

My Sony HXR-NX100 rode shotgun on a tripod shooting at 4 fps. The tripod was held in place using bungee cords giving it I nice smooth feel, even on bumpy roads. I also used this same camera to shoot various scenes around the country, and to interview folks.
