I'm Bojan from The Roman Guy.
Today, we're going to teach you how to use the buses in Rome.
This is our latest in the series of Roma How To videos.
Now, in any foreign country, the transportation system can get pretty complicated, but today, we're going to show you how to conquer the buses of Rome.
We recommend carrying a ticket with you while in Rome.
You never know when you're going to need one and actually, it's really hard to find one on the bus.
You usually get them at a Tabacchi place.
Now let me show you how to actually buy one.

When traveling around Rome, it's important that you know where you are, where you're going, and which bus number you're supposed to take.
We're standing here on the bus stop in Piazza Venezia.
The Italian word for bus stop is fermata.
You'll read the fermata on top of the boards and also the name of that bus stop.
In this case, Piazza Venezia.
After that, it's important to choose which bus to take.
Now, above the bus number, you'll always see a different letter, X meaning Express.
Watch out, this bus doesn't stop at every single stop.
Night bus is marked with the letter N and the ones you'll usually be looking for are the buses with the letter U, meaning urban.
Our destination, in this case, is Piazza Navona.
Now, usually on these bus stops, you'll not see the name Piazza Navona on the board, which means we need to look for the nearest stop available.
This is when your map will come in handy.
To get to Piazza Navona, we need to get off at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which means, looking at your board in front of you, we're looking for the bus number 64.
It's also important to notice that the first and the last stops are what's known as the Capolinea meaning the beginning and the end of your course.
In order to get to Piazza Navona from Piazza Venezia, you'll have to take the bus number 64, heading into the direction of Stazione St. Pietro.
Now that you're on the bus and the crowd is finally cleared out, you got to use your tickets.
You have the arrow pointing out the place where you need to insert it into the machine.
Check it out. That's it, validated.
Everyone, we've reached our destination, the beautiful Piazza Navona.
Now, you can admire Bernini's Four River Fountain.

PESHAWAR is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, and it’s a must-visit city in the world for food lovers.
Of all the cities I visited in Pakistan, Peshawar was one of the most special, a city of immense history, culture, and some of the most incredible meat dishes of anywhere in the world. People have huge hearts, and a great taste of delicious food. Thank you Waqas and Peshawar for an amazing street food tour!
Halwa puri - We started off this Peshawar street food tour with first breakfast, halwa puri, something that is loved throughout Pakistan. Their version was one of the best, fried in pure desi ghee, and what I loved most was the chana, chickpeas stew.
Nika Seri Pai - Breakfast number two was one of the best dishes I ate in all of Pakistan - Peshawari seri paye, this version made with stewed cows feet. The stew was so rich and incredibly thick - like one of the most rich things you could possibly eat. What I loved so much about Peshawari paye is that it had an incredible garlic flavor. The meat was fall apart tender melting as well.
Price - 500 PKR ($3.73) per bowl
Sir Cunningham Clock Tower - After breakfast we headed to walk around and explore Peshawar, which has some ancient history, and is a fascinating city to explore. Masjid Mahabat Khan is one of the oldest and landmark mosques in Peshawar that’s well worth a visit.
Brains masala - 90 PKR ($0.67) - After having some amazing Peshawari tea, we then continued on to eat brains masala, which he literally whipped up in minutes, and we had a fresh plate of cow brains masala. It was delicious especially with the added chutney.
Pomegranate juice 200 PKR ($1.49) per cup - This is a cup of juice I could hardly even believe. It was the best, freshest, and perfectly sweet and tart cup of pomegranate juice I’ve ever had.
Peshawari pulao - 185 PKR ($1.38) per plate - Next on this Pakistani street food tour of Peshawar, we had Peshawari pulao, which is quite similar to Kabuli pulao. The rice was lightly seasoned, cooked with meat and chickpeas. It was awesome.
Saag and lassi - 50 PKR ($0.37) - Another highlight from this amazing street food tour of Peshawar was the saag and lassi sold by an extremely friendly man right outside the pulao restaurant. The saag was so healthy and fresh, and the lassi was freshly whipped up.
Kaptaan Chappal - One of the best things I brought back with me from Pakistan are Kaptaan Chappals, the locals sandals made in Pakistan. We went to the same shop that Mr. Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, is famous for buying his sandals that he wears almost everyday.
Nisar Khan Charsi Tikka Shish Mahel - Finally, a food trip to Peshawar wouldn’t be complete without eating at Nisar Khan Charsi Tikka, the most famous restaurant in Peshawar for meat, specifically lamb. Everything was incredibly good, and I especially loved the lamb chops.
Total price - 2,600 PKR ($19.38)
An amazing day in Peshawar, it was one of those days where everything is fascinating, everywhere you look and everything you taste.

Sangla to Chitkul is just 24 Km but the journey takes over an hour to complete. The reason is narrow and bad roads. But even after all this, the journey is very much enjoyable. If you have missed my earlier video. Here's the link:

There's are hardly much to stop on the way except the beautiful scenic valley. I have tried my best to capture all for you. Once you reach Chitkul, checkout the beautiful and crystal clear water river Baspa. The beauty is unimaginable.
Chitkul is Himachal's last village in Kinnaur. After Chitkul, theres an ITBP checkpost beyond which no civilian is allowed.

Paradip, also spelt Paradeep, is a major seaport town and a designated notified area in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha, India.
Paradip Port is one of the Major Ports of India serving the Eastern and Central parts of the country. The Port of Paradip founded by Raghavendra, is the primary port in Odisha, and one of the largest on India's east coast. The port handled over 57 million tonnes of cargo in 2009-2010. Thermal coal and iron ore are major commodities that transit the port. Its hinterland extends to the States of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The Port mainly deals with bulk cargo apart from other clean cargoes. There is unprecedented growth in the traffic handled at this Port in the last decade. The Port has got ambitious expansion programme to double its capacity to meet the ever increasing demand. Paradip is emerging as a major industrial hub with several upcoming steel plants including a US$12 billion plant being developed by POSCO of South Korea. In addition, alumina refineries, thermal power plants, and a petrochemical complex are under development.
Paradip has been identified for development as one of the six major petroleum, chemicals and petrochemical investment regions (PCPIRs) in India, along the lines of Pudong in China, Rotterdam in Europe and Houston in North America. The Paradip PCPIR has identified an investment potential of US $68.84 billion, spread over 284 square kilometres (110 sq mi) in the area.
Paradeep which is actually an estuary of the Mahanadi River, is one of the most popular beaches of Orissa. Covered by green forests and adorned with natural creeks and island, the Paradeep beach is a paradise for all marine lovers. Paradeep attracts a number of tourists from all over the world and its shimmering golden beaches and aqua blue waters explain its popularity. The tropical sun and the long stretches of sandy beaches are the perfect place to soak oneself in the organic values of nature.
The attractions in Paradeep are not restricted to its beaches alone. There are a number of places that one can visit around Paradeep, these include Temple of Baladeva, Gahirmatha beach, Jhankad and Bhitarkanika National Park. Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar are respectively the nearest railhead and Airport of Paradeep. Reaching Paradeep from any part of Orissa is not a problem as it is well connected by road. The National Highway number 5A passes through Paradeep and links the sea side resort to 3 important tourist spots of the state, Udayagiri, Lalitgiri and Ratnagiri. The roads along the coast line is simply fascinating which makes the experience of traveling to Paradeep as ecstatic as the destination itself.

Inauguration of The Tourist Information Kiosk Network of Sri Lanka Tourism
Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau under The Ministry of Economic Development, together with Intelo Networks (Pvt) Ltd, in a joint project launched a network of Digital Tourist Information Kiosks (TIK) in Sri Lanka on 19th Mach 2012 at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). The primary task of this project is to provide information about Sri Lanka to the tourists who visit the country.
The first Official TIK was opened to the General Public at the Silk Route Lounge at BIA by the Chief Guest, Hon. Minister Priyankara Jayaratne, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Guest of Honor, Dr. Mrs. Sudarshini Fernandopulle, Minister of the Parliament from the Gampaha District.
Mr. Rumy Jauffer, Managing Director Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Mr. Prasanna Wickramasuriya, Chairman Airport Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd BIA, Mr. Kamal S. Ratwatte, Vice Chairman AASL BIA, Mr. Johanne Jayaratne, Executive Director AASL BIA, Representatives of Diplomatic Missions in Sri Lanka and few other distinguished invitees related to Tourism Industry and the Media graced this occasion since it was an important step taken towards the development of tourism in Sri Lanka.
The TIK provides information via the interactive touch screen in an accurate, trustworthy and timely manner. This unit will initially accommodate 10 languages: Sinhalese, Tamil, English, German, Japanese, Dutch, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Italian. Tourists will be able to gather more information about Sri Lanka by viewing the available video content. Apart from providing necessary information to tourists this will facilitate to earn extra revenue per tourist visiting the country, by way of providing easy accessto the products and services listed in the kiosk.
TIK is a technology driven Digital Information Network (Display information through electronic Touch screens and LCDs) that provides precise exposure to tourism industry that can provide excellent returns to beneficiaries of tourism and it can also help to build brand awareness among the target consumer groups easily and effectively. The entire business network of TIK is automated so it could minimize human interference.
Tourism has become the fastest growing sector of the Sri Lankan Economy. At present the numbers ofover 850,000 Tourist arrivals are expected to reach 2.5 million in 2016.
These unique and attractive Kiosks (TIK), introduced first time to Sri Lanka, have two screens attached to one unit. The Touch-screen can be easily accessed by anyone and it helps to browse throughthe tourist related information and the products and services available according to each Tourist's requirement.The 32 LCD screen attached to it on top plays general tourist related information and documentaries.
Other TIKs' in the network will be situated in Tourists Information Centres of SLTPB, Business Centres, Shopping Malls, Selected Hotels and few other places with high Tourist foot fall. To identify the locations of these Tourist Information Kiosks, INTELO has planned to put up TIK directionalsigns and the installation of all directional signs shall be at the discretion of the state regulations andshall be consistent with the new Colombo Urban Image Strategy Plan.
INTELO together with the SLTPB will see the constant improvement of the functionality of the TIKs'as the usage of the units increase in the months to come and they say they are confident that thiswill enhance the possibilities to develop the tourism in Sri Lanka and it will definitely enhance the opportunities for the overseas holiday makers.

Athens, the Capital and Largest City of Greece
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. The city dominates the Attica region and is one of the world's oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning around 3,400 years. Classical Athens, as a landlocked location was a powerful city-state that emerged in conjunction with the seagoing development of the port of Piraeus. A centre for the arts, learning and philosophy, home of Plato's Academy and Aristotle's Lyceum, it is widely referred to as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy.
The first pre-historic settlements was constructed in 3000 BC around the hill of Acropolis. The legend says that the King of Athens, Theseus unified the ten tribes of early Athens into one kingdom. This process created the largest and wealthiest state on the Greek mainland, but it also created a larger class of people excluded from political life by the nobility. By the 7th century BC, social unrest had become widespread, and the Areopagus appointed Draco to draft a strict new lawcode (hence draconian). When this failed, they appointed Solon, with a mandate to create a new constitution. This was the great beginning of a new social revolution, which was the result of the democracy under Clisthenes.
During the Middle Ages, Athens experienced a decline, but re-emerged under Byzantian rule. Athens was thriving and prosperous during the Crusades, actually benefitting from the Italian trade during this period. However, this fruitful period was short-lived, as Greece suffered badly under the Ottoman Empire, only to recover in the 19th century as the capital of independent Greece. Today a cosmopolitan metropolis, modern Athens is central to economic, financial, industrial, political and cultural life in Greece.
