The province of Medio Campidano was a province in the autonomous region of Sardinia, Italy. As of 2015, the province had a population of 100,141 inhabitants over an area of 1,517.34 square kilometres , giving it a population density of 66 inhabitants per square kilometre. It had two chief towns, Villacidro and Sanluri, with 14,245 and 8,543 inhabitants, respectively. It was established in 2005 from a section of the province of Cagliari. It contained 28 comuni and the president of the province was Fulvio Tocco.The province contained Nuragic archaeological site Su Nuraxi in Barumini , which was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997....

    The Costa Verde , also known as Marina di Arbus, is a coastline located in the south west of Sardinia, in the Province of South Sardinia. It extends for approximately 50 km from Capo Frasca, in the north, to Capo Pecora and Portixeddu, in the south. The Costa Verde is situated in the territory of the municipality of Arbus and Fluminimaggiore. Capo Frasca, in the north, represents the southern border of the Gulf of Oristano.
