When visiting the famous city New York, most tourists stay directly in the centrum. Only a few European people I know have been in Long Island so far. As I did not want to stay were most of the visitors are, I decided to stay in Long Island during my last trip to the United States.

Petty's Bight, Orient Point, NY

Enter the property through a gorgeous, tree-lined drive way and come upon this waterfront Colonial, which spans an impressive 10 acres. The 4,000 sf home consists of four bedrooms, three full and one half bathrooms, an open living and dining space, an eat-in kitchen and gorgeous views of the Long Island Sound. Also included is a colossal deck, wonderful for entertaining. The 10-acre property, located in Orient, boasts a gracious walkway from the house all the way down to the beach.
