Sutton Cheney is a village in Leicestershire, England, close to the location of the Battle of Bosworth. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 538.Sutton Cheney Wharf on the Ashby Canal gives access to the battlefield site. There is a small cafe, operated by 'The Ashby Trip', who specialise in offering narrowboat rides on the canal. Sutton Cheney itself has two old coaching inns– the Royal Arms and the Hercules.
