Все хорошее когда-нибудь заканчивается, даже путешествие по Якутску! В целом, Якутск оказался очень интересным городом. Но главный плюс этого города — это минус зимой. Якутск должен забыть все, что делают в других городах России, и пойти своим путем. Холод может стать главной фишкой города. Ну, и я бы запретил делать ступени из полированного гранита))
В финальном ролике прогулялся по потрясающему рынку, познакомился с носорогом Сашей, сходил в лучший бар, теплицы и самый опасный район города!

Monument Millennium of Russia - a monument erected in Novgorod in 1862 in honor of the millennial anniversary of the legendary Vikings calling to Russia.
The authors of the project of the monument are sculptors Mikhail Mikeshin Ivan Schroeder and architect Viktor Hartmann. The monument is located in the Novgorod Detinets, opposite the St. Sophia Cathedral and the former building of the government offices.
The monument is a giant ball-Power on bell-shaped pedestal; the general shape of a bell-shaped monument (according to some assumptions, was intended to announce to the descendants of the heroic past of Russia).
Around six powers sculptural groups are set. The total height of the monument to 15.7 m (height pedestal - 6 m, height of figures - 3.3 m cross on Power - 3 m).
The diameter of the granite pedestal - 9 m; ball-Power - 4 m; circle high relief - 26.5 m monument metal weight - 100 tons of bronze casting weight - 65.5 tons (the ball-Power - 400 pounds;. colossal figures - 150 pounds;
cross on the ball - 28 pounds).
Total monument contains 128 figures.
Sculptural images are divided into three levels:
A group of two pieces - an angel with the cross in his hand (the personification of the Orthodox Church) and a kneeling woman (the personification of Russia). Installed at the top of the group on the Power (emblem of royal power), crowning composition.
Power decorated with relief ornament of the cross (symbol of the unity of the Church and the autocracy) and straddles the inscription: the Emperor accomplished tysyachelѣtіyu state Rossіyskago unto prosperous tsarstvovanіe Alexander ІІgo summer of 1862.
Central part of the monument took 17 pieces (ie. N. Colossal figure), grouped in six sculptural groups around the ball-Power, symbolizing the different periods of the history of the Russian state
(According to the official historiography of the time).
Each group is focused on a certain part of the world that has a symbolic meaning and shows the role of each of the sovereign in the strengthening of certain frontiers of the state.
At the bottom of the monument is a frieze in which are placed high reliefs 109 historical figures, embodying the idea of the support of autocratic power in the society in the person of its most illustrious representatives.
Within each section are arranged according to the person's position on the monument left to right.
In 1857, the eve of the anniversary of the 1000th anniversary calling Rurik to rule on the wishes of the Minister of Interior and the subsequent decision of the Committee of Ministers announced a competition for the best design of the monument,
which is planned to put in Novgorod, where, according to legend, the Vikings and was called. The government announced the beginning of widespread collecting money from all classes of the population for the construction of this monument.
It was planned that the monument costs half a million rubles. But the people sacrificed only about 150 thousand. Rub .; and a sum of 400 thousand. rub. It has been added to the state.
In April, 1859 in the press announced a competition among sculptors to carry out this project, and also voiced the program, which was supposed to correspond to the monument (six periods of Russian history).
On the projects was given six months (until 1 November 1859). Six periods were to be implemented in the sculptural groups, the height of the monument was to be no more than 18 meters.
The competition has been submitted 52 projects (submitted anonymously under mottos), of which the Competition Council established at the Academy of Arts, chaired by its vice-president Prince GG Gagarin with the participation of architects and engineers,
seconded by the Chief of Railway Transport Administration and public buildings, declared the relevant provisions of the contest only three projects:
architect Antipov. The project was an imitation of Bavaria in Munich and the monument was too big for the Novgorod area
Academician Gornostaeva. In this project, Russia has been allegorically depicted as a large statue. The Commission agreed that this allegory is not understandable to the general and will impress.
