Temiskaming Shores is a city in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It was created by the amalgamation of the town of New Liskeard, the town of Haileybury, and the township of Dymond in 2004. The city had a total population of 9,920 in the Canada 2016 Census. Temiskaming Shores is Ontario's second-smallest city, in terms of population, after Dryden. Haileybury is the seat of Timiskaming District. Prior to the amalgamation of Temiskaming Shores, the region was commonly nicknamed The Tri-Towns, a designation that also encompassed the neighbouring town of Cobalt.   • 1. Devil's Rock Hiking Trail Temiskaming Shores
    Devil's Rock, or Devils Rock, is a granite escarpment, located 5 kilometres south of Haileybury, Ontario, Canada. It is dated to be 2,200 million years old and it has a face of 600 feet rising 300 feet above Lake Timiskaming. People have been rock climbing Devil's Rock in recent years. There are five tunnels in the cliff's face that were made from rock blasting between 1907 and 1912. It is a local treasured area of beauty with hiking trails, and is often depicted in local art.

    Lake Timiskaming or Lake Temiskaming is a large freshwater lake on the provincial boundary between Ontario and Quebec, Canada. The lake, which forms part of the Ottawa River, is 110 kilometres in length and covers an area of almost 295 km2 . Its water level ranges between 175 m and 179 m above sea-level, with a mean annual average of 178.4 m . The lake is in places up to 216 m deep. There are several islands on the lake, notably Mann and du Collège Islands. The name is from the Algonquin Temikami or Temikaming, meaning deep waters. There are 30 species of fish in Lake Timiskaming, the best known are northern pike, sturgeon, lake trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, bullhead, carp, burbot, perch and whitefish. It is classified as a Natural Environment park.
