In this vlog, Tom and I explore the beautiful sights of Antwerp, Belgium and see St. Paul's Cathedral, travel beneath the water in St. Anna's tunnel, shop at Primark, eat Belgium waffles and more!! We then travel to Valkenburg in the Netherlands and go on a train ride to explore the cold, dark Velvet Caves, that are over 1000 years old and were used as a shelter during WWII! We also adventure out into the Valkenburg castle ruins, take a life up the mountain, and I ride an Alpine Coaster for the first time!!
This is the last vlog from my adventure in Europe, and I wanted to say a big thank you to my mom for sending me on the trip, as well as a big thank you to Tom for letting me stay with him, and taking me on so many amazing adventures!!

Valkenburg the Christmas town of the Netherlands 4K

In Valkenburg aan de Geul, the Christmas town (Dé kerststad van Nederland), not far from Maastricht, you can really get into the mood for the christmas time. The beautiful town shines in the Christmas glow and that for over 30 years. There are a lot of caves and with the Gemeentegrot also the oldest, largest and most visited underground Christmas market in Europe. Here you can stay for hours and just enjoy. The highlight is Saturdays and Wednesdays, the half-hour Christmas parade. We were here for the first time and have had a lot of fun, we just did not make many other attractions, because there should be more than 200 km of underground passages there and at 12 degrees constant cave temperature, the weather does not matter!

In Valkenburg aan de Geul die Weihnachtsstadt der Niederlande unweit von Maastricht kann man sich so richtig sich auf das Fest einstimmen. Das wunderschöne Städtchen erstrahlt im weihnachtlichen Glanz und das schon seit über 30 Jahren. Hier gibt es eine Vielzahl von Grotten und mit der Gemeentegrot auch den ältesten, größten und meistbesuchtesten unterirdischen Weihnachtsmarkt Europas. Hier kann man stundenlang verweilen und einfach nur genießen. Der Höhepunkt ist Samstags und Mittwochs die halbstündige Weihnachtsparade. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und haben riesen Spass gehabt, viele weitere Attraktionen haben wir einfach nicht geschafft, denn es soll insgesamt über 200 km unterirdische Gänge dort geben und bei 12 Grad konstante Grottentemperatur kann einem das Wetter auch egal sein !
