    The Glen Helen Nature Preserve is a nature reserve immediately east of Yellow Springs, Ohio, United States. The land area was given to Antioch College by Hugh Taylor Birch in memory of his daughter Helen Birch Bartlet in 1929. The Glen stretches in land area for approximately 1000 acres . It is managed by the Glen Helen Ecology Institute. The preserve was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1965.The Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center can be found in the northeast corner of the Glen Helen Nature Preserve. The wooded glen was donated by Hugh Taylor Birch in 1929 to Antioch College, which later granted the Glen Helen Ecology Institute stewardship of The Glen.     John Bryan State Park is a 752-acre Ohio state park in Greene County, Ohio. The park surrounds Clifton Gorge, a deep cut of the Little Miami River between Yellow Springs and Clifton. The park contains a campground, and hiking and biking trails. The park also abuts the Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve.
