Green Lake Park - Best Parks In Seattle
Green Lake Park is one of my favorite parks in Seattle. This north Seattle lakefront park features lots of open space, a 2.8-mile loop trail, and a great playground for the kids. Green Lake is also a great place for a summer picnic, swim, or boating. If you live in or are visiting Seattle, you should definitely check out Green Lake Park.

Greenlake Park Seattle 2015 Take A Walk Around The Lake
A walk around Greenlake park in Seattle filmed during the summer of 2015.
Green Lake Park Seattle, WA
Walk, ride, dive and swim. Lifeguard on deck. Basketball court right across from the children's play area. Dodge ball, pickle ball, volleyball, baseball. Watch all of these games playing at the same time. But watch out for the squirrels and geese if picknicking because they don't run away from you they run to you to feed them!! Lol. And there's a large unique pool area for the kids on the other side.

Green Lake is a neighborhood in north central Seattle, Washington, USA. Its centerpiece is the lake and park after which it is named.
Its generally accepted boundaries are Interstate 5 to the east, beyond which lies Roosevelt and Maple Leaf; N 85th Street to the north, beyond which lies the neighborhood surrounding North Seattle Community College, known by some as North College Park; Aurora Avenue N (Washington State Route 99) to the west, beyond which lies Phinney Ridge, and N 60th Street and Woodland Park to the south, beyond which lies Wallingford.
Green Lake is surrounded entirely by a very popular paved path. The 4.5 kilometer path is divided into two lanes — one for pedestrians and one for bicycles, roller skates, and other wheeled unmotorized vehicles. The inner pedestrian lane is bidirectional, while the outer wheeled path is unidirectional (counterclockwise). The path is a major destination for people seeking exercise and can become quite crowded on days of fair weather. There is also an outer path along the edge of the park.

Other fishing opportunities include Common Carp, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, Pumpkinseed Sunfish and Brown Bullhead.
