Kayaking & Canoeing in Maine
Canoeing is a Maine tradition and a great way to experience our scenic rivers and lakes. The Allagash Wilderness Waterway is a canoeing classic, as is the St. John River. The Penobscot, Kennebec and Dead Rivers offer a range of canoe tripping, from challenging whitewater to calm float trips. And the lakes and ponds from the south coast to Aroostook County provide an abundance of canoeing possibilities.
Kayak among the coastal islands, past sea cliffs and along our sandy beaches and experience Maine's rich ocean heritage, incredible scenery, and shorebirds and sea mammals. Our inland lakes and ponds amid the fragrant balsam woods and forested mountain peaks offer equally rewarding kayaking adventures.
Maine Kayak Downeast Expedition - Machias to Acadia 2015

I decided to start sharing more day to day experiences so that people can see what full time RV living is like. This is not a vacation. This is a nomadic lifestyle that I sustain by working from the road.

The fog rolls in around Bar Island as the tide covers the sand bar that connects it to Bar Harbor. Blaze the dog plays fetch in the surf while kayaks return from their tour. My three dogs take-in all the sights. Clouds brought in by Hurricane Irene are starting to form.

Sea Kayak in Maine
This video is about Sea Kayak in Maine. The Sea Kayak adventure in Maine was probably one of the highlights during our trip. It's too bad that my go-pro died before our adventure ended. It would have been cool if I got a photo of seals popping their heads as we kayak through the open sea. It was suppose to be a 4-mile route that ended to be a 6 mile and took us longer than expected. We also caught a bit of a storm that's almost life threatening if we tip over. The water was 43 degrees and I was afraid this would be a hell of a trip. Luckily, as rough as the water can be rocking our kayak side to side. We made it to the end of the line safe and alive! lol
Our guide from the Acadia National Park sea kayak tour was amazing! He was so knowledgable about the area and also made recommendations of where to go and eat in Maine. Its too bad, we were only in this beautiful state for less than 8 hours but at least we manage to eat the most popular lobster roll in the bar harbor area.

FIRST SUNRISE in the USA - Acadia National Park
In this video we make our way to our northernmost point on the east coast (Acadia National Park). While there we spent a few nights at the Walmart just outside the park which was filled with other travelers and even got to spend time in one of the campgrounds in the park. Some of the spots in the park we visited were beehive, sand beach and Cadillac Mountain along with many others. Cadillac Mountain sunrise at 9:10.
