Lunch at the Fisherman's Catch Restaurant, Wells, Maine
Tuesday, June 16, 2009. A local tour guide in York recommended that we have dinner at the Fisherman's Catch Restaurant, located on a side road off of Route 1 in Wells, Maine. We arrived a little before 5:00pm just in time to get the last table. As we entered the restaurant, the fellow behind me asked if he was going to be on television. I said Yes, if you behave yourself!.
It soon became obvious that this restaurant is a favorite of the local residents.

Best RV Campgrounds St. Louis Missouri (MO): Camping With or Without the Internet
Best RV Campgrounds in St. Louis Missouri (MO) With or Without the Internet
Hi, I'm Mason, and I love visiting campgrounds, RV parks and paintball fields throughout the midwest. I currently live in the St. Louis, Missouri area but I enjoy traveling whenever I can. I've learned a few things that others tell me has helped them get the most out of there camping trips and adventures and I hope my thoughts can help you.
A very common question that campers ask is what type of Internet connections are available at RV parks and campgrounds. What I am really hearing is how in the world do I stay connected while the family is having fun.
Well, let me tell you there are a lot of reasons to be able to access the Internet while out camping. Whether it is a family vacation a business trip or both, having access to the Internet can be both beneficial and rewarding. Internet access can allow you to make plans and set itineraries while still at the campground waiting for the kids to awaken. What about a rainy afternoon and you can't go fishing, Internet access gives you a backup plan.
Make sure you know what service may be available at the RV campground you are heading to. Many campgrounds do offer WI-FI service these days, both for free, and on a pay type service.
Typically if it is available throughout the campground it is a pay per use, or if it is available in a common area, then it may be free. You will want to check ahead of time to make sure that they do have service available and if it's throughout the park or in a designated area. You may want to find out about the fees ahead of time as well.
One thing you may not have thought of is the security levels of the Internet access. The Internet can be a dangerous place these days, and it is good to know that your information is secure. Many campgrounds and RV parks have self installed systems and may or may not have good security to keep your information safe and secure. It is always a good thing to find out who supplies the Internet access, and the safety and security they offer.
If you or someone you know is looking for the perfect camping park, campsites, RV park or paintball fields, then I invite you to visit YouTube.com/campingstl for additional tips and ideas that can make it the best experience ever.
I've also got a gift for you that I think can help you avoid a forgetful moment that could ruin your camping trip before it ever gets started. Me and my staff developed a checklist of the essential items you are likely to need before you go camping. If you go to campinginstlouis.com, you can request a copy of the Disaster or delight-Must Have Items checklist. It's free and I hope it helps. If you're ever in the St. Louis area or have questions even though you're not, feel free to call some of my friends over at Pin Oak Creek RV Park and Paintball they are great folks and can be reached at 888-474-6625

Taking the Church to the Street

October 24, 2014
Description: One day more than 20 years ago, Debbie Little looked at all the people sitting on the Boston Common park benches and thought, “The church is out here, not where buildings are necessarily, but where people are. We need to show up for it!” With this inspiration, she was moved to take the gifts of the church out to people who cannot come in to receive them—gifts which she describes as celebration, accompaniment, welcome, continuity, prayer, music, Bible study, and pastoral care. Who are these people, how do we serve them, where do we begin? Say YES to the small voice within and the leading of Pope Francis, and join Rev. Little as she shares experiences, graces, and struggles of church life on the street. “Jesus was a homeless man and so am I,” says Billy, who joins her with others to share blessings they have received from being met by church on the street.
