Hike Southern Oregon | Crater Lake, Umpqua Hot Springs + Toketee Falls
This week Liz & Dennis share their free camping spot in the Umpqua National Forest, just minutes from Toketee (toke-uh-tee) Falls & Umpqua Hot Springs! These 2 hikes are must do's & actually pretty easy!
⚠️Umpqua Hot springs can be a bit risqué! ???? So... maybe don't bring the kids!
This part of our Southern Oregon road trip was breathtaking & VERY smokey! (pun intended) We were very excited to hike Crater Lake National Park, but the smoke was SO thick hiking was not advisable. The visitors center was a nice escape from the choking smoke & we added a sweet stamp to our National Parks Passport! A fun must have if you, like us, are on a mission to visit as many parks as you can.
We also share some tips on boondocking with our Grand Design Momentum 328M toy hauler 5th wheel RV.
The mission of our travel vlog is to inspire you to live the life of your dreams! Full time RV living is our way to travel America & experience new places through a local point of view. We would love to know what your dream life looks like!

Explore Southern Oregon in 36 Hours
Early mornings and late nights. Long drives with the windows down. The tunes are always on. Waterfalls, hot springs and craters. Running for cover from the rain, t-shirts on come the sunshine and winter boots strapped tight for the snowy trails. This was our experience of southern Oregon in 36 hours.
We drove up the Oregon Coast to Brooking, Oregon to experience Samuel H. Boardman State park. It was rugged, rainy and beautiful. We then cruised to Bandon Beach, but didn't have much luck with the weather. It was time to head east for Umpqua National Forest. We ventured to see Susan Creek Falls, trekked down to Toketee Falls, took a relaxing soak in Umpqua Hot Springs and took the only open entrance to Crater Lake.
This was our road trip in Oregon in 36 Hours. It was an amazing adventure.

Day 9 was a day spent moving about the city and trying to see as much as possible in one day. We didn't film much in the city so i combined days 9 and 10 into one video. From Portland we drove to the amazing Crater Lake as an impromptu stop and then spent the night near the waterfall of Whitehorse Falls Campsite.

Amazing Blue River | Waterfall Adventure in Pacific Northwest | Fall Creek Falls in Oregon
We set out on a mission to see some waterfalls. We wanted to see Toketee Falls, but the trail was extremely icy and dangerous. Luckily we found a backup: Fall Creek Falls.
I think the best view of the day was the extremely blue water in the Umpqua River! Oregon is so beautiful!
