Spuzzum is an unincorporated settlement in British Columbia, Canada. Because it is on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 50 kilometres north of the community of Hope, it is often referred to as being beyond Hope. Spuzzum was immortalized in the early 1980s by the band Six Cylinder in a song with the refrain If you haven't been to Spuzzum, you ain't been anywhere.

1. Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park Spuzzum
Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located in the Fraser Canyon approximately two kilometres north of Spuzzum and 40 kilometres north of Hope. This small 55 ha park is centred on the site of the original Cariboo Wagon Road bridge over the Fraser River. The park was established in 1984 because of its historical qualifications. It has picnic tables but no camping. Public access is via a trail from a parking lot on the east side of the Fraser, as the old portion of the pre-modernization Cariboo Highway, which used the bridge, is no longer open to the public. The Nlaka'pamux and Sto:lo First Nations have inhabited the area for over 9000 years. The first white persons known to have visited the site were Simon Fraser and his crew during their exped...

The Yale Cariboo Wagon Road was built in 1865 and ran from Yale on Fraser's River all the way to Barkerville and the gold riches of nearby Williams Creek. The road wound north via the spectacular Fraser Canyon route over Hell's Gate and Jackass Mountain and connected to the earlier Cariboo Road at Clinton.
