Spuzzum is an unincorporated settlement in British Columbia, Canada. Because it is on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 50 kilometres north of the community of Hope, it is often referred to as being beyond Hope. Spuzzum was immortalized in the early 1980s by the band Six Cylinder in a song with the refrain If you haven't been to Spuzzum, you ain't been anywhere.

    Golden Ears Provincial Park is a Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada at 555.9 km². It is named after the prominent twin peaks which are commonly referred to as Golden Ears . The park's southern end is located on the northern edge of the district municipality of Maple Ridge on the north side of the Fraser River. The park was originally part of Garibaldi Provincial Park but was split off as a separate park in 1967.

It and the Alouette River, formerly the Lillooet River, were renamed in 1914 to avoid confusion with the larger river and lake farther north, with Alouette, the French word for lark, being chosen as being melodious and reminiscent of the original name in tone.
