Spuzzum is an unincorporated settlement in British Columbia, Canada. Because it is on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 50 kilometres north of the community of Hope, it is often referred to as being beyond Hope. Spuzzum was immortalized in the early 1980s by the band Six Cylinder in a song with the refrain If you haven't been to Spuzzum, you ain't been anywhere.

1. Alouette Lake Maple Ridge
Alouette Lake, originally Lillooet Lake and not to be confused with the lake of that name farther north, is a lake and reservoir in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the southeast foot of the mountain group known as the Golden Ears and is about 16 km in length on a northeast-southwest axis. It and the Alouette River, formerly the Lillooet River, were renamed in 1914 to avoid confusion with the larger river and lake farther north, with Alouette, the French word for lark, being chosen as being melodious and reminiscent of the original name in tone. Most of the basin of Alouette Lake has never been logged and its north flank is protected as part of Golden Ears Provincial Park . The Yale Cariboo Wagon Road was built in 1865 and ran from Yale on Fraser's River all the way to Barkerville and the gold riches of nearby Williams Creek. The road wound north via the spectacular Fraser Canyon route over Hell's Gate and Jackass Mountain and connected to the earlier Cariboo Road at Clinton.
