Superior Township is a civil township of Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,337 at the 2010 census.The federally recognized Bay Mills Indian Community has its land base reservation here, based near Brimley. It operates Bay Mills Community College, a tribal college open to the entire community of the Upper Peninsula. It also operates a casino on its reservation, to generate funds for education and welfare of its people.

1. Bay Mills Resort & Casinos Brimley
The Bay Mills Indian Community , known in Ojibwe as Gnoozhekaaning , is an Indian reservation forming the land base of one of the many Sault Ste. Marie bands of Chippewa Indians. The largest section of the reservation is located in Chippewa County, Michigan, approximately 15 miles west-southwest of Sault Ste. Marie; it has land in both Bay Mills and Superior townships. A smaller section lies southeast of Sault Ste. Marie and encompasses Sugar Island, all contained within the Sugar Island Township.

Kings Club Casino is a casino located in Brimley, Michigan, which opened in 1984. It was the first Tribally owned casino in the United States. It is owned and operated by the Bay Mills Indian Community.
