Burekup is a small town located on the South Western Highway in the South West region of Western Australia. The town is built on the Collie River and was originally a railway siding on the Pinjarra-Picton line that was established in 1910 and known at the time as Boorekup. Following a request from the Shire of Dardanup, the town was gazetted in 1973.Burekup is the Indigenous Australian name for a wildflower that grows in the area.

Mandurah is a coastal city in Western Australia, situated approximately 72 kilometres south of the state capital, Perth. It is the state's second-largest city, with a population just ahead of that of Bunbury. Mandurah's central business district is located on the Mandurah Estuary, which is an outlet for the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary. The city takes its name from a Noongar word meaning meeting place or trading place. A townsite for Mandurah was laid out in 1831, two years after the establishment of the Swan River Colony, but attracted few residents. Until the post-war boom of the 1950s and 1960s it was little more than a small fishing village. The Town That Is Cow Crazy ( Cowaramup )

Cowaramup is a town in the South West of Western Australia, 12 kilometres north of Margaret River in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.
The name Cowaramup derives its name from Cowaramup Siding, which was located near the townsite, on the now disused Busselton to Augusta railway. The townsite was gazetted in 1925, originally to support the timber and dairy industries. The name is believed to be derived from Aboriginal word cowara, meaning purple-crowned lorikeet] Locals from the region often refer to the town as Cowtown, a reference to the use of cow in the town's name and its history of dairy farming.
