Gina Joy Carano is an American actress, television personality, fitness model, and former mixed martial artist. Carano began her training with straight Muay Thai to competitive MMA, where she competed in Strikeforce and EliteXC. She was featured in ESPN The Magazine as well as Maxim. Her popularity led to her being called the face of women's MMA and was ranked 5th on a list of the Top 10 Influential Women of 2008. In August 2009, Carano fought Cris Cyborg in Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg, the first time two women headlined a major MMA event; Cyborg won. The Pragser Wildsee, or Lake Prags, Lake Braies is a lake in the Prags Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. It belongs to the municipality of Prags which is located in the Prags valley. During World War II it was the scene of the transport of concentration camp inmates to Tyrol.

Lago di Tenno is a lake at Tenno in Trentino, Italy. At an elevation of 550 m, its surface area is 2.5 km². The lake was formed around the year 1100 following a large landslide that blocked the course of the river Rì Sec, which is currently the main tributary of the lake. In the southern portion of the lake there is a small island. The level of the lake varies over the years depending on the flow rate of the tributaries. In the years when the level is low this island becomes a kind of promontory. This area is protected by the Autonomous Province of Trento as a biotope.

Places to see in ( Naples - Italy ) Stadio San Paolo

Stadio San Paolo is a stadium in the western suburb of Fuorigrotta in Naples, Italy, and is the third largest football stadium in Italy after the San Siro and Stadio Olimpico. For the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, it hosted the football preliminaries. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of Napoli. The stadium was built in 1959 and underwent extensive renovations in 1989 for the 1990 World Cup. The present capacity of the San Paolo is 60,240.

The stadium is probably most famous for hosting the 1990 World Cup semi-final between Italy and Argentina. Considered to be the most intriguing match of that World Cup, Diego Maradona, who played for Naples's Italian 1st division team, asked for the Napoli fans to cheer for Argentina. The Napoli tifosi responded by hanging a flag in their curva of the stadium saying Maradona, Naples loves you, but Italy is our homeland. It was touching for Maradona as Napoli was the only stadium during that World Cup that the Argentinian national anthem was not jeered. The match finished 1–1 after extra time. A penalty shoot out ensued with Maradona fittingly scoring the winning penalty for Argentina.

Even with Napoli in Serie C1 during the 2005–06 season, Napoli achieved the feat of having the 3rd highest average home attendance in Italy for the season with only two Serie A clubs, Milan and Internazionale having higher attendances. Napoli's final game of the season drew a crowd of 51,000 which now stands as a Serie C record. San Paolo also hosted Italy's Euro 2008 Qualifier vs Lithuania on 2 September 2006 with the possibility of other qualifiers to be played there in the future.

The Naples city council asked the Italian government for permission to rename the stadium after Diego Maradona. The Argentine legend helped Napoli to win Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990, and he remains a popular figure in the city. The council voted to ask for the renaming of the San Paolo stadium, but one stumbling block is an Italian law prohibiting public buildings to be named after any person who has not been dead for at least 10 years.

The stadium was one of the venues of the 1990 FIFA World Cup, and held five matches The first two were Argentina’s Group B matches. The first was against Soviet Union on June 13 winning 2 - 0 and the second was against Romania on June 18 ending in a 1 - 1 draw. The next two were Cameroon matches. The first was a Round of 16 match against Colombia on June 23 winning 2 - 1 after extra time and the second was a Quarter-finals match against England on July 1 losing 3 - 2 after extra time. The fifth and last was the Semi-finals between Argentina and hosts Italy on July 3 with Argentina winning on penalties 1 - 1 (4 - 3).

If your looking for great Italian dining experience that goes beyond the food, Siena is one of my top recommendations. With authentic ingredients and an American meat and potatoes twist on some famous dishes, Siena Ristorante is anything but your typical red sauce Italian restaurant. With their exquisite decor and the fire burning in their open fireplace, it makes for a perfect romantic dining get away. The inside is so breathtaking, it makes you feel as though you are in a serene farmhouse in Italy. My two favorite pasta dishes on the menu hands down are the Pappardelle al Cinghiale, and the Taglierini al Funghi. The Pappardelle is fresh pasta with wild boar ragu and is out of this world. You can taste a hint of the Chianti wine that they infused during the cooking process which is absolutely delicious. This fantastic dish would blend well with one of their Chianti wines. If you're new to blending wines and dishes, ask your waiter for his or her recommendation. The Taglierini al Funghi is fresh pasta with cremini mushrooms, shallots, Grana Padano (Italian cheese) and black truffle butter. Wow, this dish is bursting with flavor. If you like mushrooms, you'll love this rich buttery flavor with just the right amount truffles and mushrooms. I crave this entrée! I also was very excited when I tried their 32oz Angus Porterhouse grilled with sea salt, black pepper and extra virgin olive oil, served with sautéed spinach and rosemary roasted potatoes. This beef was the most tender beef I've had in a long time and just melted in my mouth. This entrée is recommended for two because it's so big and definitely a must eat. If you love Italian food as much as I do, you'll have to put Siena Ristorante Toscano at the top of your list for your next night out. Known for exceptional ingredients, a fantastic wine cellar and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Siena is always an excellent choice for great, hearty, Tuscan Italian cuisine. They really bring Italy to Austin! See you there!
