Finnmark [ˈfɪnmɑrk] or Finnmárkucode: sme promoted to code: se is a county in the extreme northeastern part of Norway. By land, it borders Troms county to the west, Finland to the south, and Russia to the east, and by water, the Norwegian Sea to the northwest, and the Barents Sea to the north and northeast. The county was formerly known as Finmarkens amt or Vardøhus amt. Since 2002, it has had two official names: Finnmark and Finnmárku .     Seiland National Park lies in the municipalities of Alta, Hammerfest, and Kvalsund in Finnmark county, Norway. The park includes the majority of the island of Seiland, the second largest island in Finnmark county after Sørøya. The park includes two glaciers: Seilandsjøkelen and Nordmannsjøkelen . The highest point in the park is the 1,078-metre tall mountain Seilandstuva. The 316-square-kilometre park was established on 8 December 2006. The 9.6 square kilometres of the water inside the park's area, includes the surrounding sea and many fjords including the Nordefjorden, Sørefjorden, and Flaskefjorden.
