Glenrio, formerly Rock Island, is an unincorporated community in both Deaf Smith County, Texas, and Quay County, New Mexico, in the United States. Located on the former U.S. Route 66, the ghost town sits on the Texas–New Mexico state line. It includes the Glenrio Historic District which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The community was founded in 1903 as a railroad siding on the Rock Island Railroad. Its name is derived from Scots glen + Spanish rio .

    Ute Lake State Park is a state park in New Mexico, USA, located on the eastern plains. The park features a large 8,200-acre reservoir on the Canadian River that is home to various fish species including largemouth bass, catfish, crappie and walleye. The state-owned Ute Dam creating the reservoir was completed in 1963 without federal funding. The park elevation is 3,900 feet above sea level. The park is located 2 miles west of the town of Logan, New Mexico.
