Enlightened Vicenza Report 01 - Op. Zeitnot
The Zeitnot, in chess language, is when a player has a very little time to complete his moves. The obvious consequence is that soon the player will do a mistake.
It is what happened Saturday night in the fight for the control of minds for the first Cycle in Vicenza, Italy - cell NR01-FOXTROT-15.
Everything starts from an intuition of Barbie996. One evening he told to me: Do you know that you can cover Vicenza with a huge field?. I watched to the Intel and... he was right! But, I thought, only one field is so sad and certanly not enought in order to affirm Enlightened's absolute domination over the city. So, why to do only a field, when you can cover a city with ten overlapped field?
Vicenza is a city full of history, so we decided to place the vertices in historical cities. The first one (west) in the little city of Soave, with his castle of the thirteenth century. The second one (north) in the city of Grumolo delle Abbadesse with the beautiful Palladio's Villa Chiericati.The third one (south-east) in Caldogno, where there is Andrea Palladio's Villa Caldogno.
We were just starting the operation, when two members of the Resistence, watching our movements, decided to use an ADA on the portal Cavallo alato morente in Montecchio Maggiore, creating great fields to the north-west. They had a little time to act and they thought that to make an l8 portal in this position was the better choice.Zeitnot effect. And their mistake too. But this could destroy our plans. Immediatly the agent fanrielkerrigan went to Cavallo alato morente to recive a Jarvis Virus from the agent Quintino. We must wait one hour to use it. I went to the south-east vertice, Quintino took the position to the north one and Alasthor controlled the west one. The agent despair was at the Intel-planning position. Everything was ready.
Checkmate: when the agent fanrielkerrigan activated the Jarvis Virus (Oh yeah. So l8. So green.), immediatly great fields covered the city of Vicenza. Ten overlapped fields, for a total of half a million MUs.
I am sure: Andrea Palladio would be proud of our geometries.
