Jerzens is a municipality in the district of Imst and is located 8 km south of Imst at the Pitze River in the valley with the same name. Settlement of the area began around 600. The village was mentioned in a register in 1313 for the first time. Jerzens has 1008 inhabitants and its main source of income is agriculture and tourism.

A mountain coaster or alpine coaster is a type of roller coaster with bobsled-like cars on tracks installed on a mountain. It is similar to alpine slides where a low-wheeled sled is used to navigate the track, but instead of running over smooth concave tracks like the alpine slide, alpine coasters run on rails with up-stop wheels like traditional roller coasters. Thus, an alpine coaster isn't necessarily safer due to the jerky movements the cart makes as it navigates its way on a fixed track. Alpine coasters are undoubtedly slower than an alpine slide since alpine coasters have speed regulated carts that prevent a rider from experiencing the track at full speed. Miss Tawau - Bungee jumping in Pitztal (Part 1)

The “Pitzenklamm“ is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking gorges of Europe in Austria. It is crossed by the Benni-Raich-bridge which is the starting point for bungee jumping. It’s a highlight to jump from the suspended pedestrian bridge (94m) down into the gorge!

The Vereina Train Tunnel, Switzerland

The Vereina Tunnel is the world's longest metre gauge railway tunnel. The tunnel was built to improve all-weather transport links in the eastern part of Canton Graubünden, as the Flüela Pass (between Davos and Susch) is prone to heavy snowfall and avalanches in the winter months. Construction began in 1991 and the tunnel opened to traffic November 19, 1999.
