The Japanese Garden of Toulouse is a park classified remarkable garden of France lying north of the center of Toulouse in France , in the district of Compans Cafarelli . This garden was created in 1981 to meet the wish of Pierre Baudis during his tenure at the Toulouse town hall. He had enjoyed this type of garden during trips, especially that of Dublin .
This closed park of 7000 m and is part of a green area of 10 hectares in the heart of the recent district of Compans-Caffarelli. Quite rare in a southern city such as Toulouse, this garden offers botanical varieties from the Far East. Designed by the design office of the Garden and Greenspace Department as a place of meditation , there is a mineral garden, a typical red wooden bridge connecting an island that allegorically represents paradise. It draws on the gardens created in Kyoto between the xiv th century and xvi th century , corresponding to times of Muromachi and Edo. It is isolated from the rest of the park thanks to curtains of greenery and a hill offering some privacy.
The garden is composed of a dry garden with a crane island, a Turtle Island and nine rocks, a lake, a tea pavilion, and a garden planted with a dry waterfall, Japanese steps, a lantern, a red bridge, an island of Paradise, a mount Fuji and the stones of the three saints. There is also a bust of master Taisen Deshimaru , who founded many Zen dojos in France in the 1970s.

Ces 2 semaines à sillonner l’Argentine furent 2 semaines de claques visuelles, de rencontres plus belles les unes que les autres, de dizaines de kilomètres à pieds avalés, de challenges relevés, de merveilles de la Nature contemplées, de moments seuls avec soi-même, de rêves réalisés….
J’ai redécouvert des sensations de liberté et d’authenticité que j'ai ressenti durant mon tour du monde en filmant plus à l’instint et dans l’instant, en rencontrant plein de voyageurs en sac à dos. La petite différence très marrante cette fois, c’est qu’à plusieurs reprises des voyageurs français m’ont reconnus. Du coup, les rencontres se faisant encore plus facilement.
Je remercie Visit Argentina & LATAM Airlines de m’avoir fait confiance et de m’avoir donné carte blanche pour vivre ce voyage et faire découvrir ce pays à ma façon.

- Mes potes du bus Daniel et Andy ont réussi à accomplir leur rêve : aller jusqu’en Antarctique !! Gros respect à eux, leur motivation, leur gentillesse et et leur bonne m’ont tellement inspiré.

Discover the Source of the Sorgue at Fontaine de Vaucluse
You'll find the source of the Sorgue river at the commune of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse in the Provence-Alpes-Cotes d’Azur region It is the biggest spring in France and the fifth biggest in the world with an annual flow of 630 million cubic metres. Apparently it surges in March for about 5 weeks and then subsides.
We weren't there at the flood, but if you check out the video you can see just how high the waters can go (hint: I would have needed scuba gear at that time).
We came here in search of the source of the Sorgue River and found a beautiful village aflush with water from its mysterious spring. To quote the Rime of the Ancient Mariner there was literally water, water, everywhere (but, I'm glad to say, plenty to drink)!
But there's a lot more to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse than this water source. An attractive medieval village surrounded by dramatic high cliffs, overlooked by a ruined bishop's castle, Saint Véran buried in the local church, plus the emerald green river flowing through it help to explain why this is one of the most visited villages in Provence. Oh, and Petrarch, the celebrated 14th century Italian poet and scholar, lived here!
