Mont Saint-Michel is a small UNESCO World Heritage site located on an island just off the coast near Avranches in the region of Lower Normandy in northern France. The island is best known as the site of the spectacular and well-preserved Norman Benedictine Abbey of St Michel at the peak of the rocky island, surrounded by the winding streets and convoluted architecture of the medieval town.

South of France Part 4 - Villages in Aude & Tarn September 2014
Video & photographs of a number of small villages in and around the Black Mountains in the Aude & Tarn regions of the South of France. The tranquility and cleanliness are hallmarks. Several local markets are visited and sunflower seeds and grapes are seen being harvested. A brief glimpse of wine making at Triangle d'Or at Conques-sur-Orbeil is included. The video concludes with a wine tasting at Chateau de Gourgazaud.

Here we are in Paris. It is the most romantic city of the world. Everyday life can be sometimes be hard to find admidst the tourists and grand monuments. If you look for it you may find it in the most simple things. In this case we are talking about the Basille Market.
Here in Bastille square known as Place de La Bastille, this is the largest market in Paris, with almost too many choices. It is a very diverse market. You can find every level of society. I think that it is a market that ought to be listed in foreign guidebooks.
Fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, it is all happening here. Here you have some St. Nectaire (cheese). Its color is gray, more or less, that because of its time aging. It spent some time in a cellar, in the earth, flavored with a bit of hazelnut.

Carcassonne - France - Frankreich
Carcassonne is a fortified French town in the Aude department, of which it is the prefecture, in the Region of Languedoc-Roussillon.
Occupied since the Neolithic, Carcassonne is located in the Aude plain between two great axes of circulation linking the Atlantic to the Mediterranean sea and the Massif Central to the Pyrénées. Its strategic importance was quickly recognized by the Romans who occupied its hilltop until the demise of the Western Roman Empire and was later taken over by the Visigoths in the fifth century who founded the city. Also thriving as a trading post due to its location, it saw many rulers who successively built up its fortifications up until its military significance was greatly reduced by the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659.
The city is famous for the Cité de Carcassonne, a medieval fortress restored by the theorist and architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc in 1853 and added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.Consequently, Carcassonne greatly profits from tourism but also counts manufacture and wine-making as some of its other key economic sectors.

Most beautiful village FRANCE: SAINT GUILHEM LE DESERT
We paid a visit to the charming village Saint Guilhem le Désert in southern France. It is considered as one of the most beautiful villages of France.
Saint-Guilhem le Désert is essentially a medieval village located on the Chemin de St-Jacques (St. James's Way) pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella.
The village has maintained its historic state. Because of its isolation, in 806 Saint Guilhem established the monastery of Gellone here. This abbey along with the nearby Pont du Diable were designated UNESCO World Heritages sites in 1999. If you ever come to France, don’t miss the opportunity to drop by at this lovely place.
