Santa Bárbara de Nexe, with her church tower, is set amidst hills, between the sea and the sierra. The village has beautiful views towards the coast. It is located a few kilometers from Loulé.
Santa Bárbara de Nexe is a civil parish in the Portuguese municipality of Faro on the southern Algarve.

In september/oktober hebben we een individuele rondreis gemaakt door Portugal. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van een huurauto en last minute het verblijf geboekt. We zijn gestart in de Algarve waar we diverse bezienswaardigheden hebben bezocht. De route: Tavira, Lagos, Beja, Evora, Fatima, Braga, Ponta de Lima, Vila do Conda, Porto, Aveiro, Lissabon, Cascais en Sintra.

1 1/4 hours of time lapse shooting 30 second exposures each 8 seconds 15fps with 16-35mm Canon L lens wide open at F2.8 ISO 1600. Big mistake doing this with a full moon, way to much light, it looks like it was about 5 o'clock. Still first attempt with my 5D Mark II
