Among South Dakota attractions, the Mitchell South Dakota Corn Palace is one of those places off the beaten path that will create great memories for the entire family. The Corn Palace South Dakota was built to attract visitors to Mitchell South Dakota, and the building has become a popular place for tourists and for natives of South Dakota. The walls of palace are decorated with huge, beautiful, unique murals that are made from thousands of corn cobs and husks. The palace has been home to concerts by the biggest names in music, local and state basketball games, and a daily gift shop. For that one-of-a-kind vacation, the Mitchell Corn Palace is a fun place to bring your family, and it's not far from your visits to the Badlands of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, and Sioux Falls.
