Telfes is a village in the district Innsbruck Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is situated in the Stubaital 11 km south of Innsbruck. The municipality consists of the districts Telfes, Gagers, Kapfers, Plöven and Luimes. The area is about 27.83 km², and it is situated 987 m above sea level. The coat of arms shows a lynx.

The Krimml Waterfalls , with a total height of 380 metres , are the highest waterfall in Austria. The falls are on the Krimmler Ache river and are located near the village of Krimml in the High Tauern National Park in Salzburg state.

This is a single-pipe alpine coaster in Mieders, Austria. You reach the summit via a cablecar and then sit on a small car with a brake lever and off you go. Having ridden it once using a little braking, I decided to try it a second time without using the brakes. This is SCARY! Enjoy the ride!

The Stubaitalbahn, in Tirol, Austria, is one of the coolest and most beautiful trains in the world. It is technically a street car (tram) that carries passengers from the city of Innsbruck to the towns of Natters, Mutters, and the Stubai Valley. Children in these areas use it as their school bus to reach schools throughout Innsbruck. It is also an attraction that should not be missed during any visit to Tirol, Austria. In combination with the S-Bahn Tirol and Regio bus the Austrian Alps are accessible with public transportation provided by the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol)
