Wangen im Allgäu is a historic city in southeast Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies north-east of Lake Constance in the Westallgäu. It is the second-largest city in the Ravensburg district and is a nexus for the surrounding communities. From 1938 to 1972, Wangen was the county seat of the Wangen rural district.

Ulm Minster is a Lutheran church located in Ulm, State of Baden-Württemberg . Until the eventual completion of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Catalonia, it will remain the tallest church in the world, and the 5th tallest structure built before the 20th century, with a steeple measuring 161.5 metres .Although sometimes referred to as Ulm Cathedral because of its great size, the church is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop. Though the towers and all decorative elements are of stone masonry, attracting the attention of visitors, most of the walls, including the façades of the nave and choir, actually consist of visible brick. STREET VIEW: Wangen im Allgäu in GERMANY

Wir starten in der Lindauer Strasse und gehen durch das Stadttor bis auf den Marktplatz. Dann gehen wir über die Herrenstraße bis zum Frauentor. Anschließend gehen wir über die Schmiedstraße bis zum Eichendorffmuseum. Über die Bindstraße geht es via Postplatz bis zum Marktplatz. Weiter geht es über den Metzigbach und über den Kellhof wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Wangen im Allgäu is a quite beautiful city in south of Germany nearby to Ravensburg and Lindau at Lake Constance.

German carnival parade is such a madness!! It is also known as Fastnacht or Fasching in German. A weeklong celebration happens all over Germany, with different dates in different parts. I visited the one in Gengenbach, in the Black Forest area in southern Germany & I had such a great time!

Cycling the Donau-Bodensee Radweg in Germany Day 4 - Wangen to Lake Constance

The last day of my cycling trip along the Donau-Bodensee Radweg in Germany. Today's cycling took me from Wangen to Lake Constance itself. This has been a great cycling trip, and revealed to me a side to Germany I knew very little about. To think that I have cycled in this general are twice, and have seen so little!
