    Kastoria is a city in northern Greece in the region of West Macedonia. It is the capital of Kastoria regional unit. It is situated on a promontory on the western shore of Lake Orestiada, in a valley surrounded by limestone mountains. The town is known for its many Byzantine churches, Byzantine and Ottoman-era domestic architecture, fur clothing industry, and trout.

    Pisoderi is a village 17 km west of Florina, Greece. Nearby, 5 khm, is the ski resort Vigla. First mentioned in an Ottoman defter of 1481, the village, then known as Ipsoder, had only twelve households.The ski center is located on Mount Verno, and currently has five lifts and ten trails. The summit of the resort is 1939m above sea level, with a total vertical drop about 420m. The resort has a view of the Lake Prespa, on the border between Greece, Albania and Macedonia.

Its beach is part of the Olympian Riviera. The Thermian Gulf is situated to the east. The entire coastline is sand. The Olympiaki Akti is located 2 km S of Paralia, 5 km E of Katerini, SE of Veria, 70 km S of Thessaloniki and the Makedonia International Airport, N of Larissa, NNW of Athens, NE of Tyrnavos, NE of Mount Olympus and 150 km NE of Kalampaka. The popualation of the settlement was 320 people as of 2011.
