ChelSea Market, Manhattan, NYC :
Chelsea Market is a food hall,[2] shopping mall, office building and television production facility located in the Chelsea neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan, in New York City. The Chelsea Market complex occupies an entire city block with a connecting bridge over Tenth Avenue to the adjacent 85 Tenth Avenue building. The High Line passes through the 10th Avenue side of the building.
Chelsea Market was constructed in the 1890s and was originally the site of the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) factory complex where the Oreo cookie was invented and produced. The complex was redeveloped in the 1990s and features a retail concourse at ground level with office space above. Chelsea Market is currently owned by Alphabet Inc., parent company of Google. Chelsea Market lies within the Gansevoort Market Historic District, which is recognized by New York State and National Register of Historic Places.

The High Line, Chelsea Market & New York Jazz - Christmas in New York City (NYC) Day 2
17TH DECEMBER - DAY 7
My Birthday Vlog! Today was my birthday and what better way to celebrate than exploring more of New York City! We started the day with walking the High Line followed by some tasty tasty lunch at Chelsea Market - how anyone can pick what to eat is beyond me - I wanted to try everything! After walking to Washington Square Park we stopped off for some cheese (why not?) before heading on to Union Square for some Christmas market shopping. Visiting the flatiron building was our next stop and then uptown to FAO Schwarz to enjoy the toys :) our evening was filled with classic New York jazz at Minton's (and more food of course). Wow what another fab day!

Driving in New York City 4K - Avenue of the Americas - New York, USA
Sixth Avenue (officially Avenue of the Americas) is a major thoroughfare in New York City's borough of Manhattan, on which traffic runs northbound, or uptown.
Sixth Avenue begins four blocks below Canal Street, at Franklin Street in TriBeCa. From this beginning, Sixth Avenue traverses through SoHo, Chelsea and Flatiron District in Lower Manhattan.
It also passes through Garment District and Theater District in Midtown Manhattan before ending at Central Park South.
Manhattan is the most densely populated of the five boroughs of New York City and its economic and administrative center, cultural identifier, and historical birthplace. The borough consists mostly of Manhattan Island, bounded by the Hudson, East, and Harlem rivers.
Manhattan Island is divided into three informally bounded components, each aligned with the borough's long axis: Lower, Midtown, and Upper Manhattan.
Manhattan is often described as the cultural, financial, media, and entertainment capital of the world. Anchored by Wall Street in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York City has been called both the most economically powerful city and the leading financial center of the world, and Manhattan is home to the world's two largest stock exchanges by total market capitalization: the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.

Chelsea, New York - 4K UHD - Virtual Trip
Former stronghold of Irish immigration, the district of Chelsea as the Greenwich village is a mainly residential district with there also
many red brick buildings. The aspect is however more industrial here, the streets are straight as in the rest of the city and we do not feel
not necessarily the atmosphere of Greenwich village. Chelsea is famous for its many art galleries.
Chelsea stretches from W 14th Street to W 29th Street from north to south, and from 5th Avenue to the banks of the Hudson River from east to west.
Two iconic landmarks in this area are the Highline, an elevated Borough Walkway that cuts across the neighborhood from north to south, and Chelsea Market.

New York City Travel Guide - Welcome to New York
New York City Travel Guide - Welcome to New York
New York City is the most populous city in the United States. It lies at the mouth of the Hudson River in the southernmost part of the state, which is part of the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. New York City is a center for media, culture, food, fashion, art, research, finance, and trade. It has one of the largest and most famous skylines on earth, dominated by the iconic Empire State Building.
New York City consists of five boroughs, which are five separate counties. Each borough has a unique culture and could be a large city in its own right. Within each borough individual neighborhoods, some several square miles in size, and others only a few blocks in size, have personalities lauded in music and film. Where you live, work, and play in New York says something to New Yorkers about who you are. The five New York boroughs are:
Manhattan: The famous island between the Hudson and East Rivers, with many diverse and unique neighborhoods. Manhattan is home to the Empire State Building in Midtown, Central Park, Times Square, Wall Street, Harlem, and the trendy neighborhoods of Greenwich Village and SoHo.
Brooklyn: The most populous borough, and formerly a separate city. Located south and east of Manhattan across the East River. Known for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum, The New York Aquarium and a key NYC landmark Coney Island.
Queens: Located to the east of Manhattan, across the East River, and north, east, and south of Brooklyn. With over 170 languages spoken, Queens is the most ethnically diverse region in the United States, and one of the most diverse in the world.
Bronx: Located north of Manhattan Island, the Bronx is home to the Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Gardens, and the New York Yankees professional baseball team.
Staten Island: A large island in New York Harbor, south of Manhattan and just across the narrow Kill Van Kull from New Jersey. Unlike the rest of New York City, Staten Island has a suburban character. It is known as the borough of parks. It has its own baseball team, several malls, and a zoo.

BEST street food in New York - NYC street food
Consider this your essential NYC food guide. What is your favourite street food? New York Street food is great and New York food carts are world famous. There are lots of food trucks, New York street food carts and New York food markets. The variety and selection of street food in New York is amazing. One of the best ways to experience New York is through the food carts and street food. In this video we will take you on a tour of the best street food options in New York.
You can find information about all New York Food Truck Events on the following website: We were fortunate enough to catch one of the food truck festivals. These were some of the street foods that we tried at the New York Food truck festival.
-The Mac Truck makes a variety of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese has gained in popularity in recent years. The Mac Truck make a great variety of flavours.
-New York pizza is an essential food to try. Where can you get the best Pizza in New York. Not sure, but the Neapolitan Express food truck located on 232 East 111th Street, New York. There are many other locations in New York. Check out the website for more.
-Lobster is not exactly a typical street food, but we were happy to encounter Cousins Maine Lobster.
The typical New York food cart sells hot dogs, burgers and pretzels. We tried an expensive and very average $4 pretzel. I’d suggest to skip it and save your calories for something more delicious.
The Biryani House Cart in the New York Financial District is a highly acclaimed food cart. I love Indian food and this New York food cart is what makes New York Street food so exciting. The variety and authenticity.
The Chelsea Market is an amazing food market in a repurposed biscuit factory in the Chelsea and Meatpacking district in New York. This is one of the best food markets / best food hall that I have ever visited, with a huge variety of street food and locally produced food.
If you love thick milkshakes and delicious hot dogs, then the Shake Shack is the place for you. We visited the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. This is where you will find one of the best hot dogs in New York and one of the best milkshakes in New York

Spending the night in a NYC Capsule Hotel (My First Time!)
Hey everyone! Last week I traveled to New York and wanted to stay in a capsule hotel! I found this place that wasn't a traditional capsule hotel like i've seen online before, but I thought it was a cool american take on the experience! (not sponsored at all btw)
So some background, this was called Pod 51, and they offered a wide variety of rooms and sizes for pretty affordably. It was much more affordable than the previous chain hotel I had stayed at before, and a competitive price for the air bnb's I had checked out in the area. I mentioned a hostel had peaked my interest, but in the end this place checked all my travel boxes.
Anyway! Let me know, would you stay here? Or would you stay somewhere similar?
Did the shared bathroom freak you out?

See amazing architecture ranging from ultra modern, such as The Standard Hotel, or Frank Gehry’s undulating glass curtain design of the IAC building to the Art Deco styling of the Empire State Building.
