NEW YORK CITY | cinematic travel video and sightseeing trip of NYC
Our cinematic travel video of our New York City (NYC) trip.
We really enjoyed climbing the steep spiral staircase to the crown of the Statue of Liberty. The entire Liberty Island was a great experience. We also caught the live Broadway show Finding Neverland, which was a genuine delight. The observatory at One World Trade Center gave us breathtaking views of Manhattan and beyond. In Central Park, our favorite locations included the Mall, Strawberry Fields (John Lennon Memorial), the Conservatory Garden, and Belvedere Castle.

The local bakeries are awesome! Take the metro subway around Manhattan to avoid the traffic and general craziness on the streets. We stumbled upon a free outdoor concert at Bryant Park, which also has a carousel and fresh Belgian wafel vendor. We'd also highly recommend a sunset harbor dinner cruise on Spirit Cruises, and dinner at ONE Dine at the One World Observatory.
Footage includes Bryant Park, Lower Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Corner Bagel Shop, Macy's Department Store, Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, Imagine: the John Lennon Memorial, the Hudson River from One World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, geese, squirrels, a horse-drawn carriage, bubble making, The Immigrants monument in Battery Park, Chinese erhu player, The American Immigrant Wall of Honor at Ellis Island, Times Square, Yankee Stadium, and the 9/11 Memorial.

Statue of Liberty and New York City Downtown Skyline | HD 60fps Tour
Statue of Liberty is one of the most visited and known monuments in the world. The history associated with the statue and the Ellis Island is simply overwhelming. I'd rate these structures as the center of modern cultural anthropology in the western hemisphere. The tour starts either at NY (New York City) or NJ (Jersey City). Ferry Ride to Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island - NYC 7•11•14
The cruise ride from: Battery Park in Manhattan, New York City to: Liberty Island / The Statue of Liberty.
This same cruise ride, provided by Hornblower Cruises and Events / Statue Cruises, picks you up at Battery Park on the southern most tip of Manhattan Island, New York City. It takes you across New York Harbor to Liberty Island / The Statue of Liberty and also takes you to the historical Ellis Island.
A very nice and affordable time for you and your family to enjoy.
I recommend that everyone take this little trip at least one time in your life.
It is breathtaking and mind blowingly BEAUTIFUL ! ! !
According to the United States Census Bureau, Liberty Island has a land area of 59,558 square meters, or 14.717 acres, which is the property of the federal government. Liberty Island is located in the Upper New York Bay surrounded by the waters of Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, but its built portions and docks fall under the jurisdiction of the City of New York. The historical developments which led to this construction created the rare situation of an exclave of one state, New York, being situated in another, New Jersey. The island is operated by the National Park Service, and since September 11, 2001, guarded by around-the-clock patrols of the United States Park Police Marine Patrol Unit. Liberty Island is 2000 feet (600m) east of Liberty State Park in Jersey City and is 1.58 statute miles (2.6 kilometers) southwest of Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. Public access is permitted only by ferries from either of the two parks, which also serve nearby Ellis Island to the north. Hornblower Cruises and Events, operating under the name Statue Cruises, holds the exclusive concession for ferry service to and from the island.

New York City in 1996 | NYC
In the '90s my mother used to work on a cruise ship. Once of their destination was New York City. It was her dream to travel to NYC and since then it is my dreams (which I hopefully fulfill one day). Here is a short film she took during the trip. She and her coworker visited Times Square, Empire State Building and NY Street. Off camera, they visited many more places. The time on the overlay is wrong. There is a 6 hours difference since it is set to European time.
New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers. Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building and sprawling Central Park. Broadway theater is staged in neon-lit Times Square.
Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment center and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is sometimes referred to as The Crossroads of the World, The Center of the Universe, the heart of The Great White Way, and the heart of the world. One of the world's busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theater District and a major center of the world's entertainment industry. Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually. Approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, many of them tourists, while over 460,000 pedestrians walk through Times Square on its busiest days.
The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon and completed in 1931, the building has a roof height of 1,250 feet (380 m) and stands a total of 1,454 feet (443.2 m) tall, including its antenna. Its name is derived from Empire State, the nickname of New York, which is of unknown origin. As of 2017, the building is the 5th-tallest completed skyscraper in the United States and the 28th-tallest in the world. It is also the 6th-tallest freestanding structure in the Americas.

Empire State Building New York city USA | Visit New york city | Travel Videos Guide
The Empire State Building is a 103-story skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (380 m), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 feet (443 m) high.[6] Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years, from its completion in early 1931 until the topping out of the original World Trade Center's North Tower in late 1970.[13] Following the September 11 attacks in 2001, the Empire State Building was again the tallest building in New York (although it was no longer the tallest in the US or the world), until One World Trade Center reached a greater height on April 30, 2012.[14] The Empire State Building is currently the fourth-tallest completed skyscraper in the United States (after the One World Trade Center, the Willis Tower and Trump International Hotel and Tower, both in Chicago), and the 25th-tallest in the world (the tallest now is Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai). It is also the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the Americas. More info visit:
