NASA Transports Space Shuttle Enterprise to New York
On Friday, April 27 Enterprise, the first NASA space shuttle was transported atop a 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft from Dulles International Airport, near Washington, D.C. to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Enterprise eventually will be displayed at New York's Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Though Enterprise, the first space shuttle orbiter never flew in space, it was crucial to the Space Shuttle Program because its series of approach and landing tests in 1977 proved the orbiter could fly in the atmosphere and land like an airplane, except without power -- like a glider. Includes footage of Enterprise on the ground at Dulles and takeoff from Dulles.

USA: NEW YORK: ALBRIGHT CONTINUES SHUTTLE DIPLOMACY

U-S Secretary of State Madeleine Albright continued her New York shuttle diplomacy on Monday.
Albright, in New York for the two-week opening session of the U-N. General Assembly, held separate talks with the foreign ministers of both India and Pakistan.
She discussed tensions between the two countries over Kashmir, nuclear non-proliferation and the fight against international terrorism and narcotics trafficking.
President Clinton's planned visit to the subcontinent was also discussed.
The U-S Secretary of State took the opportunity on Monday to visit delegations from Pakistan and India.
Madeleine Albright first met Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, in downtown New York.
A State Department spokesman reported frank discussions between Albright and Aziz on issues of nuclear weapons and Kashmir.
Shortly after meeting Aziz, Albright travelled across town for a meeting with the Indian Foreign Minister, Jaswant Singh.
Again, discussions focused on nuclear weapons, Kashmir and other issues of joint interest between the two nations.
With tensions easing, President Bill Clinton plans to visit India and Pakistan after the Indians elect and install a new government, Albright told India's foreign minister.
Following the meeting, Singh talked with reporters outside the hotel and announced that Secretary Albright would be visiting India at her earliest convenience.

We discussed subjects of India-U-S concern. We discussed terrorism, we discussed the future of U-S-India relations, we discussed the forthcoming Seattle round of W-T-O talks. We also discussed the presidential visit to India. On my personal behalf and also on the behalf of the ministry of the external affairs, I extended to Secretary of State Albright warm and cordial invitation to visit India at her earliest convenience, which she has accepted.

Hurricane Sandy 2012 | New York City Before and After Storm | Blackout Aftermath No Subways
In the United States, Hurricane Sandy affected 24 states, including the entire eastern seaboard from Florida to Maine and west across the Appalachian Mountains to Michigan and Wisconsin, with particularly severe damage in New Jersey and New York. Its storm surge hit New York City on October 29, flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines and cutting power in and around the city. Damage in the United States amounted to $71.4 billion (2013 USD).
Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a statewide state of emergency and asked for a pre-disaster declaration on October 26, 2012, which President Obama signed later that day. By October 27, 2012 major carriers canceled all flights into and out of JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark-Liberty airports, and the Metro North and Long Island Rail Roads suspended service.
New York City began taking precautions on October 26th, 2012. Governor Cuomo ordered the closure of MTA and its subway on October 28, and the MTA suspended all subway, bus, and commuter rail service beginning at 2300 UTC.

On Friday, December 16, 1960, United Airlines Flight 826, a Douglas DC-8-11, bound for Idlewild Airport (later renamed John F. Kennedy International airport) in New York City, collided with a TWA Flight 266, a Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation descending into the city's LaGuardia Airport.
One plane crashed on Staten Island, the other into Park Slope, Brooklyn, killing all 128 people on both aircraft and six people on the ground. The accident became known also as the Park Slope plane crash

Maxwell and Rich culled a rich set of nuclear experts and spies from the Eastern Bloc countries of the former Soviet Union to spy and supply this business with the required expertise over decades with a key interface of Henry Kissinger to the Western intelligence agencies. Webb maintains that a split occurred between Rich and Maxwell at the fall of the Soviet Union leading to the death of Maxwell. The argument between them was over the degree to which drugs and trafficking in conflict children should be used to finance operations for dictators without natural resources to pay for nuclear programs.

George Webb is also the journalist know for interviewing whistleblowers in Piketon, Ohio regarding missing UF6 uranium containers and the mysterious shutdown and removal of centrifuges from their state of the art uranium processing plant Unfortunately, after meeting with an FBI informant in Parkersburg, WV, Webb was temporarily diverted from the Piketon, Ohio centrifuge story by the FBI informant with information from a group of homeland security experts with over 100 years of combined experience. The FBI Whistleblower provided information that a container ship on the Maersk shipping line was potentially shipping a dirty bomb into a US Port. The FBI Informant also provided the code word Memphis, which turned out to be a Maersk ship. Despite the Memphis Maersk being in the Port of Charleston, Webb predicted an attack would be more probably in the Port of Norfolk, and went as far as to describe the international drug dealer who was know to perpetrate such attacks. During an online broadcast on the YouTube Channel Crowd Source The Truth, Webb predicted the drug dealer Ibrahim would strike at the Port of Norfolk. Virginia if at all, not at the Memphis Maersk's current location in Charleston, South Carolina. Despite the Norfolk Ibrahim warning, Webb was still smeared by the New York Times and CNN as having aided the show producer, Jason Goodman, in shutting down the Port for a few evening hours as a precautionary step.
