1. Ales StenarYstad Ale's Stones is a megalithic monument in Scania in southern Sweden. It is a stone ship, oval in outline, with the stones at each end markedly larger than the rest. It is 67 m long formed by 59 large boulders, weighing up to 1.8 tonnes each. The carbon-14 dating system for organic remains has provided seven results at the site. One indicates that the material is around 5,500 years old whereas the remaining six indicate a date about 1,400 years ago. The latter is considered to be the most likely time for Ales Stenar to have been created. That would place its creation towards the end of the Nordic Iron Age. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Part 2. How to Drive Y1 1303. A Swedish-Italian Railcar.
This video isn't about the beautiful views. It was simply about to capture the sensation of driving an original Y1 railcar with the original Fiat-engines. The sound is great. I suggest you plug in your headphones.
The line is Simrishamn - Ystad and the video was shot in 2003.
This Y1 railcar number 1303 was in the year of 2004 sold and transferred to Croatia where it got the class 7122 and number 031. Unfortunately, not long after it arrived, it smashed into a truck and was scrapped thereafter.
Travel back in time and enjoy the great view and beauty of the railroads in Sweden. Enjoy the charm of vintage trains and railways before they where changed or rebuilt beyond recognition.
Always remember to enable subtitles for more informatio during the journey.
This line was electrified in 2003 and has been completely changed. The two Y1 railcars that where used (1303 and 1341) was sold and transferred to Croatia. 1303 (that this video is shot from) unfortunately smashed into a truck shortly after it arrived to Croatia and was scraped there after. In Croatia the Y1 railcars got the class 7122. 1303 became 031. 1341 became 029. They both had the original Fiat-engines. The sound is great. I suggest you plug in your headphones.
