It specializes in animals of the Nordic fauna, although orphaned animals from elsewhere in the world are sometimes temporarily housed there until a new home can be found for them. The Kullen Lighthouse is an operational lighthouse in Scania, located by the mouth of Öresund, at the point of Kullaberg peninsula, in Höganäs, on the south-west coast of Sweden. Kullen is one of the most prominent landmarks along the Swedish coastline, and with its 1000 Watt electric bulb in a huge lenshouse, also the most powerful lighthouse in Scandinavia, overlooking one of the world's most heavily traveled waters. The lighthouse is 15 meters tall and its focal plane is located 78.5 meters above sea level making it the highest located lighthouse in Sweden. Every 5 seconds, the Kullen Lighthouse flashes white for 0.3 seconds with 27 nautical miles reach.

Tips voor een citytrip Stockholm

Ik snap best als mensen denken, Stockholm wat is daar dan te doen?! Want ook ik had geen voorstelling bij deze hoofdstad van Zweden. Deze stad heeft mij zeker verbaasd. Er is veel meer te beleven dan ik dacht en in deze episode geef ik je een aantal must do's voor een weekendje Stockholm.

Uncle Rikuro delicious Cheesecakes in Japan

At the 3:26 minute mark the seller says Tadaima, cheese cake yakiagarimashita. Rikuro ojisan no yakitate fuwafuwa no cheese cake ikaga de shouka that means just now, cheese cakes are baked. Rikuro ojisan's fresh off the oven, fluffy cheese cake, please try this.

Rikuro Ojisan no Mise (Uncle Rikuro’s) Cheescakes are a must eat when visiting Osaka in Japan. The cheescakes are baked in-house meaning they are baked at the very shop where you buy them. You can get them hot straight out of the oven. The cheescakes taste more like sponge-cakes - there is very little cheese taste. BUT .... they are super delicious. They are very soft and spongy and great with a cup of coffee or tea. There are always queues at the counter and the Japanese can't get enough of Uncle Rikuro's cheescakes. The cheesecakes sell like hotcakes!!!!

If you visit this cheescake shop try to spend some time watching them make and bake the cheesecakes. Then watch as they come out of the oven piping-hot and sold direct to the public before they have a chance to cool down.

The shops are famous for ringing the bell when the cakes come out of the oven - it's their way of saying come and get it!!. I have included the bell-ringing in my video - keep an ear out for it.

Stockholm, meer dan dan 700 jaar oud, wat een verrassend mooie stad is dit! Wat Stockholm zo prachtig maakt is dat deze is gebouwd op 14 eilandjes met overal om je heen water en mooie parken. Terecht dat het een van de mooiste steden ter wereld genoemd wordt. Stockholm wordt ook wel het Venetië van het Noorden genoemd. Maak er een heerlijke fietstocht onder leiding van een Engelstalige gids, de perfecte manier om deze Hanzestad te bezoeken. Het levendige en oude Gamla Stan (het autovrije centrum) is zeer sfeervol met smalle steegjes, pleinen met kinderkopjes en prachtig gekleurde gebouwen. Ook is er een ruim aanbod aan musea en is de stad prima geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderen. Het stadhuis is misschien wel het meest prominente gebouw. De stad is hip en er heerst een relaxte sfeer. Stockholm heeft mijn hart veroverd.
