Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometres outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet . The lake has a surface area of 50 hectares . The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of blue. The colour is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.

Visiting Glacier National Park - Vlog 67

One stop on our journey was to Glacier National Park. It lies just south of the Canadian border and the name describes it quite well.

The footage shot here was actually over multiple days but since we didnt do a great job capturing out time here we put it all in one. All our camera batteries were dying and since it was cold there they lasted less so we didnt get much footage. We did love our time in the mountains tho. Its just a magical place to sit and look around. The hiking is just amazing too (Although usually Strenuous) . We would recommend a visit if you have not been.
