Lillooet , formerly Cayoosh Flat, is a community on the Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada, about 240 kilometres up the British Columbia Railway line from Vancouver. Situated at an intersection of deep gorges in the lee of the Coast Mountains, it has a dry climate with an average of 329.5 millimetres of precipitation being recorded annually. Lillooet has a long growing season, and once had prolific market gardens and orchard produce. It often vies with Lytton and Osoyoos for the title of Canada's Hot Spot on a daily basis in summer.

  • 1. Kaoham Shuttle Lillooet
    The Kaoham Shuttle is a diesel multiple unit passenger service on CN's Squamish Subdivision near Lillooet, operating as a partnership between the railway and the Seton Lake Indian Band, whose communities it serves. The train was started by BC Rail after the end of its passenger service in 2002 between North Vancouver and Prince George via Squamish, Lillooet, Williams Lake, and Quesnel. The train runs daily between Lillooet and Seton Portage. After BC Rail was sold to CN the Kaoham Shuttle kept BC Rail logos but was repainted in CN colours. Currently this is the only train that operates between Lillooet and Seton Portage; trips to D'Arcy are available through advance booking.
