Mezzolombardo is a comune in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres north of the city of Trento. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 6,498 and an area of 13.8 square kilometres .Mezzolombardo borders the following municipalities: Ton, Mezzocorona, Spormaggiore, San Michele all'Adige, Fai della Paganella, Nave San Rocco, and Zambana.

1. Lago di Ledro Pieve Di Ledro
Lago di Ledro is a lake in Trentino, northern Italy. The lake is at an elevation of 655 metres , and its surface area is 2.187 km2 . Lake Ledro is reputed to be one of the cleanest lakes in Trentino and during the summer it reaches a temperature of 24 °C , attracting tourist with ita four beaches.

2. Lago di Tenno Tenno
Lago di Tenno is a lake at Tenno in Trentino, Italy. At an elevation of 550 m, its surface area is 2.5 km². The lake was formed around the year 1100 following a large landslide that blocked the course of the river Rì Sec, which is currently the main tributary of the lake. In the southern portion of the lake there is a small island. The level of the lake varies over the years depending on the flow rate of the tributaries. In the years when the level is low this island becomes a kind of promontory. This area is protected by the Autonomous Province of Trento as a biotope.

HIKING THE DOLOMITES, ITALY part 1

Sometimes we need to reconnect with nature, push ourselves outside our comfort zone physically, challenge ourselves mentally. Sometimes even when we have friends or a partner to travel with, I think it's important to choose some solo adventures where you're forced to heighten your awareness, your gratitude, your self sufficiency. This is part one of a trek I did alone in the Dolomites, a mountain range in the north of Italy. I've lived in Italy for years but had never explored this magnificent area of lakes, picturesque villages, mountains and locals living simply in this remote and natural paradise.
I film and edit alone, travelling the world as a one-girl production company with tripods, drones and multiple cameras. Although I am Australian, I have lived in many different countries around the world, including Italy, Japan, the UK, Spain and Monaco. I have studied Italian, Spanish and Japanese and I live in Italy.
